There was a website before (can't for the life of me remember where) that was dedicated to the restoration efforts to the TOS filming model. Apparently, it underwent restorations several different times over the years by different people. I thought I read that they later cleaned up previous efforts. I hope so. In that photo she really does look like a "Sagging Old Rust Bucket". I really hope DST doesn't base their ship on that! Eventually, the model ended up in a case in the lobby of the gift shop there. Don't know the current location of it tho.

I would love to see pics of the helm also. And how much are you going to charge for these compared to DST? LOL   Regarding the sound effects, a few years ago, they released a CD of sound effects from the original series. Perhaps there is some way you could incorporate that into the chair? An inexpensive Cd player could be installed in it maybe?  Love watching the progress reports!

There seems to be an over abundance of Klingon badges! I am still hoping someone needs one and has an extra Romulan one to trade. It's the only one I need.
