I'd imagine that a Retro version with slightly better paint can't be far behind.

It seems grocery stores have been my lucky spot for finding these, hopefully I'll find the Vengeance the same way.

The retro on the other hand is proving incredibly difficult since it seems so few retailers actually sell the line.

Has anyone got the Excelsior from this collection, and the DST 1701-E?

If so, could you possibly take a photo of them next to each other? I'm just curious to see how close they are to being in scale. It'd be very kind if you could possibly have the Excelsior next to one of the E's nacelles, as if they're in scale (or close to it), the E's nacelle should reach from the very back of the Excelsior, to just infront of the impusle dome on the NX Excelsior, as shown below:

Yeah, they're a pain to acquire. I'm thinking this Mini V looks quite good, if a bit spartan with the deco on the bottom hull.

I got so, so tired of visiting the Hot Wheels pegs every waking moment of my life, in every store I entered, only to never find a single non-BD Enterprise, that I don't know if I can join in this hunt.

 

However, I did see in my WM something unusual the other day.  Normally that particular store has its pegs jam-packed with the same exact vehicles from the past year, I never see much sign of turnover.  But for some reason the pegs were all empty except for one item hanging at the end of each.  I don't know what this means.  Maybe they were just preparing to re-organize the shelves and temporarily took them off, or maybe enough time went by that they sent them back to Hot Wheels to clear space for the next wave, who knows.  But it may indicate my one and only chance to be in the right place at the right time when a new wave hits, and find a Vengeance.  Probably not though.

Guys, out of curiosity, how much are those little ships, like the one posted above? I'm having a hard time finding them online, and I'd love to know their RRP (£'s or $'s).

Got lucky today and found the retro Enterprise. Took it while another collector was going through them.

Same boat as you, part of me just wants to not even try and hope I run across the mini v like I did with both Enterprises.... It's so tedious looking for these I wish they were more readily available.

Went to some Walmarts that are on the outskirts of my route and found some of the $4.97 painted Enterprises. Bought two left three at the stores. Love to give them good homes but also am wanting the .97 Vengeance. Any help would be appreciated.
