So this Kirk looks like a new Kirk, and it is different than the Original Battle Ravaged Version, and I think it is a new head too.

Yes, thats a completely different looking Battle ravaged Kirk in that two pack. I doubt its a new head sculpt, maybe a new paint job, including the eyebrows. Guess i will have two Battle damaged Kirks now.

I have to say I like this Kirk much more than the last battle ravaged one and a second Gorn won't hurt. Now if DST could figure out a way to tie a promotion of this in with the upcoming Mythbusters episode they could probably gain more collectors.

I guess its come to this. I am probably going to get the new 2 packs, because after all these years the golds and reds match the other figures, but of course not Chekov, at least not yet. And also new phaser handle colors. And now this. I have a great Gorn. The battle damage Kirk is good, but as good this one shown. It going to come down to accessories on this set before I make decisions to buy.

But it seems to be the way we are going. New heads on old bodies and tweaked re issues.

I saw a close up on Cool Toy Review and at least the hair on that Kirk is new. It is all messed up on the forehead so it is tweaked at least. Which is cool.
