Just a WiP concept shot, but it looks like it will work.

Technically she's a bit heavier (like everyone) in this film, but I think this will be a nice and easy way to round out an TUC crew!

I need to do an adjustment on the skirt, and then just paint the duty stripes and call it good!

OK Goth....spill the beans! Where does the skirt and legs come from. Not only are the good for Uhura here but would also work pretty good for a skant Troi.

I was thinking the same thing...I was like where are those legs from, and the nearest thing I could think of was the Classic Uhura.

We have a winner!!!

Yes, actually the legs with a slight modification WILL fit into the torso socket of the TWOK Uhura.

I had an extra T&T dax and TOS Uhura. I was going to use just the legs from Dax, but then I realized that TUC Uhura wasn't in the black tights, so I just added the lower part of the legs since you don't see the rest.

Anyhow, as you can see the Lower TWOK jacket bit fits perfectly and no articulation is lost. In fact the only real modification that has to be made to the TOS Uhura legs is to cut off a "Tab" on the top of the pin that the TWOK torso plug receives.

The Black skirt... well... it's something I've used in other customs with great success... I'm not entirely pleased with it quite yet, which is why I listed it as a WiP, but when If I can find what I'm looking for (and I know it's out there I just have to get it from my local Bicycle shop *hint*) the final effect will work better as this one is "squeezing the legs in too much.

BTW... that is a GREAT idea!

I need to see if a Troi torso will accept the T&T Dax Legs....

That would make a very nice S1 Ep 1 Troi!

No one guessed what the skirt is?

Well, here are some updated shots... I fixed the problem I had with previous one, and this works much better...

One question though... should I add some "Grey" to her hair? She actually had grey in "The Final Frontier" But it looks like they took it out for TUC...

I used one of these to make the Skirt!

But the first tube I had was only about 1 1/4 inch... just too tight, So I picked up a 2" universal at Wally's for about $3.

Bicycle tubes are great for all kinds of custom work!

I first got the idea doing this little beauty!

The skirt, belt and head bit are rubber from a bicycle inner-tube!

The only draw back is paint will crack if you flex it, so you need to get special pate that will "rubberize" when dry, but you can get it at a hobby shop!

Cheers!

Hope this helps with the scant troi

I was considering this for a Mirror Tpol, but it was a bit bigger then I wanted her. The parts do fit together by the pin, but the lean is a bit too wonky.

Your Welcome! She looks great!

What did you use for the Uniform striping?

I like it. It has 'Texture' which always adds something to a figure!
