Thanks, I'll think about changing the VISOR.

The Picard has got new legs. The regular season 1 Picard had the same legs as the Picard in his jacket-figure (the one with the bulky bit at the end of the trousers). Riker and O'Brien were simple head-swaps. Worf got his correct season 1 hairstyle. Crusher was a head swap with Pulaski, but since Playmates got Pulaski's uniform all wrong on so many levels, I had to redo some parts of it. For example, the shape on the back was in fact similar to the one on front, which looked stupid...

TNG season 2 crew:

This is the TNG-crew in their movie uniforms. I will change Troi's hair so that she looks like in the movies. I also wanna do the "borgified" Data, but he's hard to get in this uniform...

My TOS-Klingons are getting more and more. Kras is new, but not quite finished, yet. I'm thinking about changing the colour of that grey shirt they are wearing (it was actually more a gold-ish shimmering thing). What do you think?

And this is the growing crew of the Enterprise. There are even two redshirts made out of 2009-McCoy and -Pike:

Some work in progress:

2014-05-18210032_zps7bf7e105.jpg

I couldn't stand the Gowron figure any longer. As much as I love the Playmates figures from the 90s, their Gowron was simply terrible!

Thanks to data_2006, I got hold of an AA/DST Gowron head. Got me some Hydroshrink and did some hair re-sculpting, and he's almost done. I'm going to re-sculpt the sash and give the whole figure a new paintjob. And he'll get the cloak from his terrible counterpart in ceremonial outfit. What do you think?

How about this one? Troi in her yummy cheerleader uniform from "Encounter at Farpoint" and "All Good Things":

2014-06-23221321_zpsdb542402.jpg

It's a Janice Rand body with Edith Keeler arms attached at the biceps swivel. I made the boots a little taller, smoothed down the front of the skirt and the collar, sculpted the new collar, little bits of additional hair etc with apoxie and glued a TNG combadge on her chest. The teal actually matches the other TNG science uniform Playmates figures.

After having seen Hayesimus' Voyager crew in TNG uniforms I finally finished painting my Admiral Janeway figure and took a picture of the Voyager crew after their return home.

I need to change Janeway's hairdo a little, but other than that, I'm pretty happy with them. I even promoted Harry to Lt. JG.  ;)

Wow! Some fantastic stuff that I'd missed last time I had a look in this topic, some fantastic customs as always.

I particularly like your latest addition, the Voyager crew in First Contact uniforms, and Gowron, such a huge improvement over the original. Lucky Harry, finally a promotion, after all those years of death, assimilation, the wrong twin, being eaten from the inside out by an alien virus, getting his calculations wrong and killing everybody he loves (twice), forced to work by the Hirogen, and seeing his best pal get promoted, demoted, and promoted again if I remember correctly, not to mention a load of other stuff. It maybe just me, but I think Janeway look's great as she is.

So, my next question has to be, what's next? :D

Thanks Redshirt. And LOL about Harry's biography...  ;) A few years ago, Scott Bakula gave Garrett Wang the promotion onstage during Bakula's panel at a convention here in Germany. That was kinda cool.

What's next? Good question. I still have to work on Gowron a bit, and I have another 30+ customs in the work and a lot more planned. I usually work on several customs at once, but sometimes I just lack the energy or motivation to finish them, so some have been lying around for quite some time in half-finished state.

But some of those I'll be finishing next are: Gowron, Korax from "Trouble with Tribbles", a female Romulan TNG era, improved Captain Pike and Spock, Number One and José Tyler from "The Cage" and a few others.  ;)

Okay, back to some TOS-stuff. I've never been too happy with the Pike figure, especially the arms and legs are terrible. So I decided to make a new Pike figure. It's still the same head, but once I get hold of a 12" Pike figure, I'll shrink it and replace it, since the 12" Pike head looks fantastic! Anyone here has a 12" Pike (head) they are willing to sell/trade?

And a comparison shot with the original Pike figure:

PikeampPikecustom_zps0d0d43c5.jpg

And then I realized that I could use a Picard in jacket-body to make a custom Pike in landing party jacket. What do you think?

I always thought the biggest problem with the Pike figure was the hair was way too dark. In fact, I have a theory that they mistakenly based the head sculpt on Jeffrey Hunter-alike Sean Kenney (whose hair was black when he played the navigator (whose name I forget) in that one episode (ditto)).

Your season 1 Troi is amazing! I want one.

In your TMP line-up, where did the Decker head come from?? Looks familiar.

Yeah, you're right about the hair color. But I don't think the head sculpt itself has too much resemblance to Jeffrey Hunter. Sean Kenney played Lt. DePaul in Arena and A Taste of Armageddon.

Make me an offer I can't refuse, and I'll make you a season 1 Troi...  ;)

The Decker head is actually a Barclay head with different hairstyle. I've seen people use the Pike head for Decker customs, but I thought the Barclay head works better.

Hi guys,

It's about time I've posted a few new figures here, isn't it? How about my new Gul Dukat figure? I never cared much for Playmates' original Dukat figure. The head sculpt was simply terrible and looked nothing like Marc Alaimo. But the 9" Dukat was a great figure with a great likeness. And when I finally found one for a reasonable price, I was able to shrink the head and make a brand-new Dukat:

Wonderful... :-)

I am collecting the Art Asylum/Diamond Select Toys figures... can you shrink a 9" Chapel to a 7" figure for Diamond select Toys?
