Absolutely outstanding, Prometheus, craftsmanship of the highest order; bravo, bravo! This is seriously impressive, and really professional looking. It really shows how ingenuitive someone can be with a few model kits, really harks back to the days days of Mike Okuda and Co doing their kitbashes!

Some new progress pictures...... The Nacelles are painted ( I went with an insignia white for the main hull color). The main Impulse engine has been created as well.

She looks great, I like the armored look on the nacelles.

Looks really good, man.
I was a bit taken aback by that guy's comment (especially after heaping praise on him for his Kyushu). I understand people giving advice and being helpful, but that was a bit mean I thought (as well as being untrue, you're not even finished). Don't worry though, I'm sure he's the type of guy who'll let you know how amazing he is - you ask him!

Thanks Jay K .... I was a bit surprised also.... But maybe he just didn't think when he was typing.
I'm trying to go for a new look for a 25th century ship.. That's why I want some contrast in the colors.
No biggie... Thanks Jay K for your support..

F that noise! You aren't finished!
I have to admit that I'm feeling a bit self conscious now..... I don't want to second guess my choices.

I don't mind the contrast, it looks pretty good to me.
I did have a thought though now that I've seen what you're going for with the saucer and secondary hulls.
I have no idea how feasible this would be for you at this point, but I wonder what you'd think of "armoring" more of the nacelles.
I did some shitty paint edits of your pictures to show what I mean.
I think it mirrors the saucer and secondary hulls paint apps.

Alteran..... I like what you have done. The only thing that would be an issue is the actual physical design of the Nacelle. The rounded part is a physical design so I would have to have the grey extension somehow come out of that and still look natural. I do really like your idea !!

I think it looks great and is coming along nicely. Like everyone had said. It's not even finished yet. Don't pay an attention to douches like that. I've got a guy that goes the same thing to my 3D models. I can put something up and his form of a compliment is saying "you're improving".
Totally understand that JMW.... I think this guy didn't mean to be a jerk ... He just was trying to be critical and he went too far.
I love your 3D work !!! I was looking at it the other day... Your Optimus rocks!!

The nacelle cap(I don't know a better word for it) already has that angle going towards the top. If you were to add on to it, and have it continue going towards the back of the nacelle, I think it would look pretty natural.
