Anyone think Eaglemoss will produce the Beyond 1701-A?..... I really like the design.

I really hope so, I want to see it sitting next to the 2009 version on my shelf.

The JJ-A would be brilliant as a special. Id love a jumbo sized version of the 2009 Enterprise too.

Just saw this up for preorder on BBTS:

If the Beyond Enterprise is being made, no doubt the A will be too.

They revealed the entire line-up of Discovery vessels. I'm a TINY bit torn. The designs are cool, just not sure I need ALL of them. I might get all the Federation ships, but I could cherry pick the Klingon ships.

I'm in for as long as it takes to get the Europa, then I'm cherry picking. No way I want any of those Klingon designs, they are awful.

Only ones I really want are the Shenzhou, Disco, Europa and Kerala. Everything else I can leave. I have subscribed, but honestly if I can source them from the online EM store individually (no reason to assume they won't do this) I will probably dip out after Disco comes out, or Europa if there is no sign of them on the EM store before then.

I'm not going to bitch and moan about the new Klingon design too much, but the design lineage is all over the place.

Man, I was looking forward to the Phase II, but those grid lines up top are ugly. The saucer should be as smooth as the TOS Enterprise.

I think when I've got around to finishing the Defiant kits, I'll be looking into buying one of the 1/1000 Phase II kits from UGH! models.

So it looks like they made some tweaks to the Refit model for the Phase 2 ship.

I was excited for it too, but dont really like the yellow bussard collectors. I liked the blue ones more, at least I thought they were blue in earlier images.

That or red, absolutely.

I just really hate recessed lines on these models (that goes for Eaglemoss, and DST). Eaglemoss are so good with their transfers/decals***, why not make use of them here, and keep the hull nice and flush?

***Decals doesn't include windows, which are I'm sad to say, are getting worse over time - not better. It's much easier to hide wonky windows when they're not also recessed into the hull.

Of the Discovery Federation ships, I'm loving all of them but the Shran and Edison, but those could grow on me.

For the Klingons, I think the Qugh and Bsthl class ships are cool. The rest are kind of boring. My brain can't really figure out the Bird of Prey design. If they make a Klingon Fighter or the Sarcophagus ship I'm there.

The yellow on the Broussard collectors is weird to me on the Phase 2 ship. Does it look like that in any concept art? I've mostly just seen the two painted pics though.

Just seeing these for the first time evah, and man, are these fed ships a weird bunch? Most are overstyled, and most of these do not look like they're from the 23rd century by any stretch. /CaptObvious

The upside is that these are well detailed and well thought out, even if too edgy & "cool-looking." This is far better than the gawd-awful kitbashes of the last season of DS9 ::flinches, shudders:: Sorry to bring those up, probably should have included a warning. I now need a beer to calm down.

All the Klingon stuff is straight-up styled after H.R. Giger -- there's just no other way of putting it. I didn't think this was possible, but they did it.

(been collecting & building Trek models for over 20 years, so I have opinions).

Morgan, I don't think I've ever seen a post of yours that I've disagreed with, but with this one, I'm going to have to say (jokingly ;) ) that this comment is bordering on insulting...to H.R. Giger!

Posting this here (sorry if there's a thread already - feel free to repost this), but Eaglemoss have posted the first two ships from their Battlestar Galactica collection:

Viper MkII, and Cylon Raider.

I wish they were staggering some of these collections a bit. I can do it but its getting hard to justify. Especially as the price has one up with these new lines they are adding.

I do have some boxed DST BSG Vipers (Mk2 and 7) from when they did big resin models about 10 years ago, don't see them come up for same much so they may fund some replacements which will surely be more accurate and better quality.

The Battlestar ships are going to be tempting, but I think the only one's I'll end up purchasing are the Battlestars themselves. For sure the Valkyrie since I have the Moebius Pegasus and Galactica, as well as DST's Galactica.

Once theyve released the Discovery Im cancelling the subscription I have for the Discovery ships... I just dont see the point or appeal in a collection of random ships that mean nothing. Its a shame that Discovery had to redesign everything.

I also dont really get why theres a new line for Discovery anyway... these should of been offered as part of he existing Star Trek Starships Collection as jumbo ships.

The Battlestar Galactica is likely to be the only one I pick up from that line.

Would love Eaglemoss to do an Orville ship.
