Looks very cool to me! A good price, too, if that holds. So excited! This is exactly what I was hoping they'd do. Although I was hoping Carol Marcus might be in this set. Not sure why it's not as nice as the Enterprise kit, considering it looks to be built from a lot of the same pieces? Of course the bridge area will be impacted because of the design. But I think it looks cool.

I don't understand why they just reused the secondary hull from the enterprise, they're not even remotely similar. It doesn't look like the Vengeance to me with that secondary hull, I probably won't be buying this.

I also don't remember the nacelles lighting up.

The saucer on the other hand looks fantastic, maybe it won't be so horrible at staying together like the Enterprises is.

I'm sure it was a cost issue. This is exactly what I expected if we saw the Vengeance. I think there's enough leeway in building block design for this to work. I would have liked the secondary hull to be shaped a bit differently (I think the struts are perhaps the biggest non-Vengeance part) but I think it's a decent representation. I doubt we'd have gotten one at all without the re-use.

1701,

Have you seen this in person?

No no, just going by those pictures.

It will probably be on display at this year's SDCC along with perhaps some other kits so it might look better from other angles.

I'm not surprised about Hasbro using the same Enterprise bottom for it, I just don't think it does the Vengeance seen in the movie justice and just doesn't look very complete. The nacelles should be bigger and beefier and I dunno, although using the same base as the Enterprise isn't exactly screen accurate, they could have used different pieces to build up around the base so that it looked completely different and more like the Vengeance from the movie. Also I don't like the fact that it's just window's from a car used to do the nacelle lights

I do think it would have been better to use more angular pieces on the hull versus the curved ones. I think the success of the lower portion will really depend on how they treated the shape around the deflector dish. That really should be bulkier and a totally different shape AND it'd be cool if the dish was mostly hidden. I really hope that part is significantly different. Not sure about the nacelle lights, though. Not sure those are just car windows, but I can't see them clearly enough yet.

I'm thinking it might have been better to use those roof tile pieces that make up the nacelles to the Enterprise (where the NCC 1701 is) for the secondary hull of the Vengeance just to give it a bit more bulk than the KREO Enterprise. Plus I'm hoping that there are some big-ass guns under the saucer!!

I'm intrigued by it, definitely going to keep an eye out for it at SDCC.

I really wasn't expecting this. I like it. Still hoping that maybe Hasbro will get off their butts and get a real action figure line together. I wonder what other surprises might be coming at SDCC in the Kreo line?

Well, we knew 11 sets were to be released in the line, including the mini-ships. With the Vengeance, I think there's just one more to be shown, and it was supposed to be a TRU exclusive, I believe. I'd love if they announced MORE sets though!

If the nacelle pylons curved out instead of in it would look better. I'm hoping the deflector will look right, and maybe it'll have some more pieces on the sides of it. I doubt it, but we'll see.

It's still exciting to see and I hope this means the Kre-O line will keep some momentum going.

Now if TRU could just keep the Enterprise in stock!

And has anybody seen Star Trek Kre-Os anywhere else at retail?

I haven't personally, though I thought people had sighted them at Wal-Mart.

The Kreons that come with this ship are, apparently, Scotty, Vengeance Captain (probably didn't want to identify him by name since it's a spoiler), and two Specialists.

It's cute....which is exactly what Admiral Marcus was going for when it was designed, I'm sure!  :D

Am I the only one who wishes they would release the Enterprise shown in the short film?
