Okay.... Ive decided to create a Diorama with the Defiant..... There is a company that makes a Jem H'adar Fighter in a close scale.

Here are some shots with the "debris" of the Jem H'adar Fighter.... The one behind will be in perfect shape.... I created the debris with left over parts from various kits.... Forgive the coffee cup stand !! LOL It will be changed eventually.

Thanks Guys..... D- I have a special replacement bridge ( More accurate) on the way....and some of the decals have to be redone so I ordered more..... Im kinda bummed ...Im getting a lot of negative feedback on the Starship Modeler Forum about the phaser pulses ( People think they are kind of cheesy) :-( I may redo them.... anyone have any ideas? This is DEFINITELY a work in progress.

I will be getting the Jem H'adar Fighter next week...Its kind of expensive....so Im saving my pennies.

Yeah, just do what you want to it. It's your work, nobody else has say over it! I really like what you're going for with it. I admit I'm not a fan of the fire bits on the ship, but they look well done. I envy your skills!

My only suggestion is if you'd like to go translucent plastic on your pulse phaser effects, your sculpted ones reminded me of the flame effect that a Jango Fett figure came with: http://www.rebelscum...sagajangofb.asp

Arent there like lightsaber laser deflection blasts also that might look good instead of the fire bits.... Like laser deflection things??? If you know what figures they come with Id be most greatful Jedi greedo.

I like what your doing with this it's unique and different. I had a thought, perhaps this would work with it as is, but maybe if you painted the pulses with fluorescent paints and then used a black light to light them. It might give it the glow it needs to help distinguish the effects from the ship?

I like the jango blast pieces a lot better than the painted ones too. There are deflection pieces and they came with many of the Jedi figures in the AOTC original movie lines. I want to say Luminara Unduli (sp) had at least one.

Thanks HSBR !! Yeah your right she did..... I actually have a Shaak Ti that has one also...I just had to find her LOL.... I agree with you about the Jango Blasts...They are gonna look much more realistic than painted resin.....

Yup, there's quite a few of them! Sorry it's taken me a bit to reply. Btw, your fire bits were nicely sculpted and looked good themselves. My only nitpick was simply that they look too much like actual fire, which wouldn't happen in space. But, clear pieces should give it more of an energy blast appearance which would make more sense.

Wow !! Thanks jedigreedo !!! I definitely could use a few of those blasts !! Thats awesome you took the time to do that ...Me and the Diorama appreciate it !!

I'm definitely using the Shaak Ti burst...Im thinking about using the Luminara Unduli and Bariss Offee blasts also.....

The only thing that stinks is its gonna cost a pretty penny to buy 4-8 Jango Final Battles and the other figures.... I wish there was a place that sold just the accessories :-(
