Okay guys.... Kind of felt bad about having to sell my last Defiant Model..... soooo ...I got a little extra cash for my Birthday and I decided to take another stab at this bad boy. I would love input about what you did or didnt like about my first attempt.....

I personally feel the azteking may have been a mistake or at least it should have been much lighter. Also I feel the blue shades for the armor should have been more subdued.

Im definitely going to do the custom deflector housing again and the thicker nacelle walls....I like the way those turned out.

I ordered the model for 60.00 ( Thats the average rate now) and it should be here in a few days.

While I think you're right on both those points, keep in mind that the last one was friggin' stellar!

The aztec wasn't a mistake - there definitely were accents to the hull - but perhaps use a more subtle variation in paints, maybe a patch of one shade lighter sheen on a matt base, that kind of thing. Something to catch the light, or show up under strong diffuse illumination only.

You did a nose-job on it, right? That (as with some actresses) transformed it's whole look (but unlike actresses, in this case, it was for the better)!

I really like the scorch marks. I have been pondering doing that to mine as well. Great work.
