Well, I guess I get to re-type my post since the board always deletes all the text when I hit post!

Shortened version... these were on After Trek. Available now. $8,000 and $9,000 each

Why is Discovery deflector purple? It always looked blue to me.

Gorgeous models that Ill never be able to afford.

I wonder how the new STO 3D-printed ones will be in comparison. Oh, not as big, and no removable panels or shuttlebay with shuttles, but might the printing be of similar quality?

I'd love to know.

I'd imagine Anovos would have a higher quality print, but after seeing the trash that was their Discovery phaser, who knows. For $10,000 it better not look even remotely 3d printed.

Very excited to learn the pricing of the STO printing, I really want an Enterprise F.

I wouldn't pay that much for such a model, not even one of the Enterprises. There are very crafted private modelbuilders out there who can do it for less than half the price Anovos wants to have.

As for the STO 3D prints, last time they wanted to make them (via a different producing company), they wanted about 60$ for the 25cm-30cm versions, up to a 100$ for bigger models. But that was a different company and they didn't even got to produce the models. I still think that would be a good value if you consider they come preassembled and prepainted. If the quality is good, of course.

Yeah... I'm kind of disappointed with Anovos offerings. For the price, I don't think they are very good value.

If you ever wanted a good look at the new Enterprise, here you go.

Im definitely thinking this is my favorite Enterprise design. Its just a perfect mix of the TOS and Refit design.
