I believe that is the Star Wars Miniatures: Starship Battles game Super Star Destroyer, quite a nice ship as well.  I remember when mine showed up being surprised at just how big she was.  (Oh and I see those 'Falcon's on sale at Amazon right now for $20 in the US fyi) ;)

Anyway to say sorry for the topic detour, how about a look at the latest additions to the Eaglemoss Collection's lineup preview page:

(Actually that link's the US page, the UK one is identical.)

So many neat ships already announced, I can hardly wait!  :D

I'm really looking forward to the Vulcan ship, I've always thought they had cool designs.

I really wish they'd show when the Enterprise C was being released.

If you like Vulcan ships (and I know I do) EM has announced plans to do a D'Kyr type (also from Enterprise) as well as the TMP and First Contact Vulcan shuttles.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think the Vulcan ships are still my favorite part of Enterprise.  :D

Let's see, on the 'provisional list' the Ent-C was #28 so I'd imagine it'll likely be in the 36-49 range judging from the archived list at Memory-Alpha compared to the preview list so far.  Which incidentally hasn't completely matched up with the actual release order so far as production issues are the ultimate order determining factor.

EM has as much as said they're trying to space out the Enterprises to keep interest and that the TOS Enterprise is all but assured to be the last issue.

No problem, I figured comparing them to the D kept it some what on topic.

They are indeed a good size, I really want slave one and the lambda shuttle after buying the falcon because of it's quality.

If the Valdore is in scale with their Enterprise-E, I'll be ecstatic. Out of that selection though, I'm most looking forward to getting the Orinoco (with sensor pod!), and the Hideki-class, because it reminds me of certain other ship. lol :)

Speaking of the Defiant, I tried using pencil to colour-in those parts on the nacelles, and like Prometheus said, it doesn't stick properly. All you see is the metallic-shine of the pencil lead - no colour. No big deal, though. I used the time to do some more windows on the DST E.

Looking forward to the new releases, especially the Runabout, Hideki and the 22nd century BoP. Judging by the size of the models so far, I guess they will match up quite good with the bigger ships from AA/DST(Well, at least sitting side by side on the shelf lol)

Right, finally bought my third Defiant today (Issue 9 has sold well it seems...). I wanted three so I'd have one to display/use, one spare, and one to pull to bits. Here's a link to the photos of the Defiant...in bits! Gore-filled, so be warned:

http://imgur.com/a/FmfCp

Putting it back together won't be too hard, it's a surprisingly tight fit. Getting it apart though (and this will vary depending on how liberal the person was with the glue) was a mixed bag - tips of my thumbs are sore. Thanks to Destructor for advice with getting the nacelles off.

But anyway, thought you guys would appreciate seeing this both in terms of modding etc, and just curiosity. :)

My plans for this right now, are to find out how to make/go about getting some custom decals (1/1400 scale would work), and making something similar to what this guy did with the 1/650 scale resin kit:
http://cosmosmodels....-defiant-class/

That 'mouth' (though likely not in keeping with Starfleet guidelines) is gorgeous, and obviously, very reminiscent of the patch made by the Top Gun fella (see here: https://www.facebook...151594347551104).

One more thing, I managed to snag one of the dedication plaques off ebay tonight for £10, which I'm happy with. I'm not a subscriber as I don't want have enough money or space for every ship, and as it's the only subscriber gift I wanted, I'm happy. I saw someone on facebook alert the company to someone else on ebay selling their Borg Cubes early (the light up one) for £30 - seems they have a leak somewhere...

I'm in the US and I received my Voyager + Romulan Warbird the day before yesterday Monday 12/16.  They seem to be trickling out right about now.

Welp, EM got back to me on Phaycebuk, and while my subscription is "opt-in" for the specials, it appears a DS9 was never ordered for me...

FFS.

EM are among the most dedicated, friendly, and responsive companies I've ever seen fans interact with. I love the magazine, and I'm mad about the models. But their subscription department suck (container-ships loaded to the brim with) balls.

My initial subscription in '12 was never fulfilled. Fine.

I was never contacted with an explanation - saw the letters they sent to others online. Hmm.
I checked if the initial subscription would carry over to the '13 roll-out. Yes it would.

I checked again. Yes it would.

The magazine launched. No models.

I checked again. "I don't know what has happened - you'll need to supply us with your payment details again.". Shambolic, but... fine.

Magazines! Finally! Awesome.

Issues 4&5.
Issues Four and Five.
ISSUES FOUR AND FLIPPING FIVE! (were eventually delivered long after the delivery of 6 & 7.)

And now this. "For some reason, a DS9 was never ordered for you. If you would like to telephone us, we can sort out the payment details over the phone."

Don't they have my flippin' payment details on my flippin' subscription profile?! Don't they need to charge that anew each month for each issue!?

I'm not the sort to rage quit on something awesome just because stuff is overdue, so my subscription is solid, but this is flippin' ridiculous, and I needed to vent somewhere.

Random, handy thing: The Trek Collective have listed all upcoming issues with their release dates for both UK and USA, as well as details on other issues, and future ship/specials speculation. If it's been linked previously, sorry, but worth linking again in my opinion. :)

If they stick to the preliminary list for the later issues I wouldn't have expected something like the Sabre to go along with the TOS Enterprise.

I would have though another iconic ship from the show would go with THE most iconic ship, I could see the TOS Romulan warbird as a good ship to go with the TOS Enterprise.

Aye, true. On a similar note, I'd have loved the Jem'Hadar ship (issue 13?) to be the Bug, and not the Battlecruiser. Reason I say that, is because the Defiant just came out, and I'd love to have the Bug to display next to it. Not complaining though, just a long wait. :)

New picture of the Enterprise-JJ (the bussard collectors will be Blue on the final version):

Also, some guy on facebook got the next two issues today. The Borg Sphere (a pass for me...), and the Reliant!
https://scontent-a-l...063184941_n.jpg

Just my opinion, but I'll be skipping the Sphere (if it'd have glowed, I would've bitten), but the Reliant looks lovely. Fingers crossed that these guys can keep going with these models, and also that my local shop keeps getting them in, which has been lovely. :)

I like the lighting effects done in paint on the sphere, though. Lights are neat and all, but you can't keep them on all the time. :)
