So Art Asylum began making Star Trek toys 16 years ago making this toy line the longest running Star Trek toy line ever!

What has been your favourite action figure line/series from the 16 years we've had from AA/DST?

Mine has to be The Borg Assimilation series. They are as close to NECA quality Star Trek figures and are just stunningly detailed. Running a close second to those figures would have to be the Away Team Enterprise series which again just blew me away in terms of detail.

So what's everyone else's fave?

I don't know if it counts as a series, but I've always liked their figures that come with the captains chair.

One day I'll get Archer and Kirk, and hope they make more in the future.

Does Starship Legends count...since I only collect the ships.

My favourite has to be the DST TOS re-issues of 2009 and the "new" Kirk head sculpt for the "Enemy Within" green wraparound tunic Kirk figure. Also, great figures like Kirk as a Romulan, Kang and the Romulan Centurion. The only figure from the main TOS ones I don't have is Uhura (but I have the original AA version). Would have been nice if they'd done a Chekov reissue. Second to that would be the original run of AA TOS figures especially wave 3 with Kor, Vina, the Gorn. It's just a shame we never got Chapel, Rand, Salt Vampire and the Romulan Commander.

Favorite line? Enterprise away team figures
Favorite figure? Tie between Nemesis Riker and Enemy within Green wrap Kirk (the last one with the good headsculpt and no rubber shirt).

You're killing me by limiting this to figures since my favorite line is the Starship Legends ships, and Trek Tek follows closely after that. However, if we're focusing on figures, I also really liked the ones that include the Captains chairs, and really wish DST would give Sisko another go, and potentially give us a Janeway/Chakotay command bench set while they're at it too if they ever revive the 7" articulated figures. I miss those and the one crew I want the most (Voyager) they've done absolutely nothing from. I also think the Enterprise Away Team line looks stunning and I'm kicking myself for never having picked anything up from it. I budgeted for the figures with the Bridge bases, and ultimately that kept me from being able to afford the away team.

It would be cool if we got a Sisko "Select" figure just so we could get the original command chair that they made but never released. With Voyager they could do 2-packs say Janeway with 7 of 9 in silver suit and The Doctor with 7 of 9 in purple suit.

Favorite line? Enterprise away team figures

Gotta second this... the ENT away Team figures really stand the test of time IMO. Great sculpts, robust figures... they were even pretty easy and straight forward to customize to flesh out a full ensemble  crew.

Runner up line... has to be the TWOK line... DST just hit it it out of the park with that one IMO.

I think these two show case the best of AA and then of DST when when they took it over.

DST's Star Trek 1st, Stargate 2nd  Battlestar Galatica 3rd.  I have a closet full of these figures and it's a shame some of the more popular characters from these shows weren't created, like Quark, and any Jem Hadar or Cardassians any Voyager crew.  It's funny how all kinds of different companies are making some sort of retro figure or another.

The flight suite Battlestar Galactica figures were really well done! I think they were sculpted by Jean St. Jean Studios though, not DST or AA. My detraction of that overall line was the way the civilians, and particularly, the women were done. I found there POA limited and they would easily fall over.

I would have to go with TOS motion picture era line. The uniforms have always been my favorite Starfleet uniforms and while a few figures where made here and there in other lines AA/DST was able to give us a pretty well rounded line of these and even managed to get a few TMP ones in.

Speaking of I still need to get the captains chair that just came out recently, just hate having to buy another Kahn just for a chair.
