I decided that I wanted a Select Kirk that was standing up straight instead of hunched over. So I picked up and extra Kirk and Spock and went to work. I heated both upper torsos up and removed the arms. Then I put the Kirk arms on the Spock torso and color matched the paint and painted the torso to match. After it dried I popped Spocks hands and Kirks head back on. The figure retains all of the original articulation.

That's sweet !!!   His facial expression with that phaser in his hand makes it look like somebody is gonna really get zapped !!! That paint match is PERFECT !!!

Thanks, it took a little mixing and testing before I got it right but in the end I think the paint match is pretty close. I also think it looks good with his other legs.

That's looking really nice. Do these figures still have those silly rubber shirts?

No thank God. They did away with those horrible rubber shirts. These are all molded plastic.
