I am working on my Klingon Bridge but as we all know as collectors we never did get a whole lot of Klingon action figures, and no I am not counting all the variations of Worf. In all we got 6 witch sucks for me because I need Klingons for my bridge.

So I had to start some custom Klingon fig. this is the start of my 2nd cus. Klingon

Oh man. That is going to be sweet. Awesome job. You may be able to use a governor Worf body for him too.

:P thank you...

I was going to post this with some pic but I forgot to take them. duh…

This is how I did it.

1. I made an impression in clay of Kor’s face just passed his ears.

2.  I then made an impression in clay of Martok’s ridges, some of his face came out but I just smoothed it down till all I had left was his ridges.

3. I made a resin cast of Kor’s face. Note: I had to shave off the front of his hair, you will need space for the ridges.

4. now I made a cast of Martok’s ridges but before it set I put the face of Kor that I cast on top of the setting resin. (I needed  to line it all up before I poured the resin)

5. Wait for it to set.

he looks great, the only thing i would suggest myself personally is give him a bit of a wash on his hair. to make it look like it is the grey and the black mixed in, because he doesn't have just solid grey hair

I was thinking the same but i am not that good at painting never mind trying to do a wash. i did try to give his ridges a wash, it did not come out too bad but i had a test part to paint first.

A wash is actually easier. I would suggest taking a head you don't plan to use for practice. Get a water base black paint and water it down until it is almost black water. You only need a little paint. Take a thick brush, dip it in the mix and then lightly drag it parallel to the hair lines and let the black settle into the grooves. For the actual figure you may want to work upside down so it doesn't drip on the rest of the figure.

Another good way to do it is the dry brush method. Get a little paint on your brush and dab it on a paper towel and let it start to dry a little. Then lightly brush it over the hair parallel to the hair lines and it will give it a nice look as well. This is also good for weathering ships and planes and such.
