Wow. What a spectacular movie. This is pretty much the best Marvel film Ive seen in quite some time. The story was a bit slow in parts but overall pretty interesting. The stuff they did to set up origin parts was creative and cool. The best part was the flawless CGI. For the first time in a very long time I couldnt tell if the stuff I was watching was CGI or actual mockup of the suit. Honestly I dont even know if they even made a real costume suit! I cant wait for the next one. If you any fan of comics or marvel definately check this one out!

PS If you go see it stay till after the credits....you wont be disappointed!

I wonder if not having a major studio attached to the film has anything to do with the quality. Ive always felt that Marvel pretty much knows what its doing. Being owned by a cartoon company obviously shows that they have film production people already involved at the lower and higher levels of management. Not having a studio also gives them the freedom to do things that they want. Im basically sitting here the day after still thinking about it and where they are going to take it in the next film. Trust me I wasnt thinking about that after Hulk, FF or Ghost Rider!

I really liked the Iron Man movie. The other Marvel movies such as F4 and Hulk left me unsatisfied and disappointed. The first Spiderman movie was ok too, but i liked Iron Man better. The best superhero movie in my book is still Batman (1989), followed by Superman (1978).

I agree the 89 Batman was darn cool. AND that joker acted like The Joker.

after seeing the new trailer for The Dark Knight at the Iron Man movie Ledger's Joker character isnt as far off from Nicholoson's as I originally thought. Its a little darker but his voice isnt anything what I expected. I was skeptical at first but now I am beginning to think that this may be another very good portrayal of the Joker.

I agree, I loved it. I went out and bought an Iron Man figure to display with my Marvel Legends set.
Bring on Iron Man 2!
