I've been thinning out things and I just didn't have room for the Ships... but as I was getting rid of them, a couple did really stand out for me.

The Klingon BOP is one rugged nice bit of plastic... but I think my fav by far... and the one ship I'm still hanging on to is the ENT 1701-D. Its just a fantastic size, and the magnets seem to work great.

I'm having a tough time letting that one go.

Does anyone else have a favorite?

My personal favorite is the NCC-2000 Excelsior.  Though the BOP is a close 2nd..its damn near perfect.

What did they change on the re-release that made it better?

I assume the re-release is the one on the right... it looks much better!

The original NX-01 is the only one I have. I honestly don't remember buying it. Might have been a gift because I'm generally not into ships this size but it was pretty cool at the time. The color hasn't held up well at all though.

I also have the bandai 1/850 scale Snap Kit of the 1701 TMP Refit. I really like that model, though the lights have allot of bleed.

I'm think about keep that and the D.

Love the BoP and Enterprise-B (I have all of them, barring repaints and the R-BoP), but my favourite is the Nemesis E. Colouring in the windows really made it pop even more.

If they ever give the D a repaint (some transfers as good as the E's), then that might move into the lead.

Are the BoP and D pretty much the largest ships that DST has offered thus far?

That seems about right.

The only ship I see them making bigger than either of them would be the D'Deridex.

My favourite has to be the Klingon BOP. Beautiful in every aspect.

I have discovered though that my Ent D (original release) has stopped working. I put fresh batteries in the other day and it's dead. There was no leakage or corrosion on the terminals, it just hasn't been used for a while. Is this common?

Did you try the reset button on the saucer? You have to use the end of a paper clip or something like that. The spot is near the saucer battery compartment.

On mine I have to Kinda press it funny...but  maybe it was always that way? Just a light press does nothing, but I have to press the button forward a bit if that makes any sense... but the sounds for the saucer separation still work when you take it apart and put it back... has yours quite doing that too?

I'll try the reset button and see if that does anything, I've pressed the heck out of the button so it's not that, and it's completely dead, no saucer Sep sounds whatsoever. It may as well be a static AMT kit.

Well, I'm not ashamed to admit. I'm an idiot. Gave the D a good going over and discovered there were no batteries in the stardrive section! All is mostly fine now, the saucer sep sounds don't play unless I kind of grind the two sections together at the neck, it doesn't work if when I just attach/detach it. That's small potatoes though as I never separate it anyway. The lights and sounds are fine and the lights only button is 'fully functional'.

I don't half feel stupid though!
