If it's not on the water, it's not making that date.

Already pushed back 6 weeks. Could it be the Kirk/Spock to get the knife?

That would be a very bad sign for Trek in all.

I cant see a "Kirk" getting canceled by DST. I think we will see this two pack. If for some reason this two pack gets canceled, i would say its time to sing Bob Hope's old song "Thanks for the memories" because DST might be getting ready to give up the license.

Totally...if a Kirk and Spock get the axe then it's gotta be over....

6 weeks isn't that long, considering the length of other delays from DST.

uh oh...if this is cancelled would that mean TOS wave 5 with Chapel & Rand would get the axe too?? I'm really looking forward to that wave. I would hate to see DST lose the license and someone like Playmates pick it up and go back to making their cartoonish figures. I suppose it is too soon to jump to conclusions though.

I wouldn't worry. Just about everything from DST gets delayed time and again. There is no reason why this wouldn't be the same. I think this will come out. Eventually.

Yep, I thought so too, but it could be the light.

We'll have to wait and see how "pretty in pink" Kirk looks "in person"... wink.gif

Man, if only your name was "FerengiFanatic", we'd have Quark by now... wink.gif
But yeah, that Spock is pretty cool. I may need to buy multiples of this one too.

Very nice, seems a bit light accessory-wise, but still nice. At least they made the TSFS phaser.

Shame they never showed Kruge and Maltz packaged, that K-BoP by the Trek logo would have made it look absolutely awesome.

Did you guys notice this is a "Spock - Kirk" Two pack. This is the first one that Spock is on the left side, being the more prominant figure.

Everything about Kirk looks off. From the colours of the jacket to his face. I didn't think it was possible, but this may be even worse than the standard DST Kirk face. Fortunately, this problem of bad Kirk face sculpts should be over once we get Wave 5 Kirk and they start using that sculpt for all future Kirks. At least Spock's face and costume look great. Definitely one of the best Spocks they've done. Pity the figures can't be bought individually. That Kirk is a total rip-off. I think what I appreciate most about this 2 pack is that they gave Spock an extra hand! Didn't they in the past just always have one hand in the Vulcan salute? Having the hand with the salute interchangeable with another one is an excellent improvement...it allows more accessory holding.

Edit: Holy cow! The Art Asylum site says this item is available now, but the release date was June 24! Could this be the first time DST is early with a release? huh.gif Of course, if such an unprecedented event ever happened, of course it had to be with a Kirk and Spock 2 pack. tongue.gif

I agree. Kirk's face sculpt looks awful and the colors of his outfit seem off. Pity.

Spock looks great! Not so sure about Kirk, though... is that paint slop from the jacket on the left side of his shirt? Sure looks like it... But if you got to the AA blog, there's a pic of the two-pack from the side that I think shows the Kirk figure at a better angle.

Im still hoping its a lighting problem with the color of Kirks outfit. Surely DST knows its supposed to be the same color as his TWOK uniform. That pink dot on his white undershirt may be some sort of pin holder for the shirt although i dont remember him having one in the movie. Hope these look better in person.
