Yeah, didn't see any preview items for Trek there on Friday when I picked up the Cheeto-prise. Not sure if I'm keeping it to satisfy the completist in me or if I'll sell it.

I want it if you decide not to keep it! I personally really like it myself!

Maybe it was a matter of space, they only have so much and if they had to choose between showing things I could see why Star Trek got left out since the line is on it's last legs anyway. Also looking at photos of their booth they didn't seem too prepared, there were hand written notes identifying several items. Perhaps they had a lot of last minute changes.

The reason given for why was:

"Being engineered at the factory."

But I thought we (inadvertently) saw the prototype?

Ya I didn't really understand that reason when they said it to me.

We did see the prototype at Toy Fair, so I don't know why they wouldn't pull it to bring it to SDCC. Isn't SDCC a bigger event?

Maybe some bugs popped up or it might have been damaged while being shipped.

Maybe this was brought up already, but looking at these SDCC Big Bang Theory figures:

Maybe retro 3.5 TNGers are on the way? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last Trek/BBT 3.5 figures used the retro 3.5 TOS bodies didn't they?

No, the two are not the same moulds. The BBT have better proportioned bodies, they are a bit narrower. They also take a neck post, while the trek have a neck sculpted, with an oversized head on top.

I am now considered a "troll" by DST on Facebook because of some of the mild comments I've made. I told them to read some of the comments on other forums which aren't as nice as mine. What do you expect anymore from them. I guess a basement full of DST toys means I'm a troll!!

DST has been trolling their Star Trek fans/customers for years now. They don't care about us at all. Whenever a Star Trek fan speaks up about their lack of product or quality of Star Trek products they make jokes about how "lively" we are or just get down right insulting or make fun of us. They turned into a joke a long time ago. They don't treat their Marvel fans or fans of any of their other properties like that. They show them respect. But when a Star Trek fan chimes in with anything they get defensive, and insulting.
