In Topic: Has the Borg Waves been Cancelled as well????

15 March 2010 - 10:54 PM

Hey folks!

I have not been on the board since the movie opened (I was literally afraid of the debate that I am sure raged) and am very much out of the loop.  However, is there a definitive answer about the Borg Wave?  I pre-ordered it when it first came up and then totally forgot about it until now and am just wondering...

Oh... and HI everyone.  I've missed ya.

In Topic: VOY Figures More or Less of a possiblility now?

"Children, children... play nice now." smile.gif

Up until now I was always quietly optimistic that we would eventually see Voyger figures, but now I have resigned myself to never seeing them. I do believe that we may get a Janeway and EMH figure, but beyond that nothing.

As for displaying 7 of 9... I'll just put her on my Borg shelf with all the other Borg figures (the new waves, the Assimilation waves, Borgified Data, Lore, etc...) and she'll fit in just fine.

In Topic: How well do you think the new movie toys will sell?

Though I am sure some kids will get the new toys, I am betting that the majority of sales will be from adult collectors.

I know everyone's shocked but this has been delayed again, 4/15...

After years of this, I no longer even expect that date to be six months later than originally slated.  Wasn't the original date 12/24?  I am sure they won't be out for that Ides of April date.  dry.gif

Does anyone know why DST feels the need to secure the figures in such a way?  I mean... legs, waist, feet, arms?!?  And it seemed like on the last figre I opened (Kira) that the twist ties were in knots, not just bended in a way to keep them steady.  ARGH!  I miss the days when you could easily rip off the bubble and the figure came right out!
