thanks guys. working on the port side walls and cons now. i have to reprint the view screen wall. i was going to use my ipad for this one and i did not measure the ipad so the screen part of the wall is too long. i redid my file i just need to print it out now. i so should not have started this project with all the running around i am doing for my wed. i have no time to work on it and the con is on the 25 of April. but she will be done. hell i was in my hotel room painting the defiant bridge the night of the con. lol

That is really looking great! 3D printers are wonderful things! Can I ask what printer you are using please?
I have a solidoodle 3. but don't run out and get one. i have had lots of trouble with this printer. i sent it to get fix and i got it back still not working sent it back and the same. took me about 3 times lots of emails and calls b4 i got it back in working order. and to me it still does not print at 100%.

I was looking at makerbot but I don't know too much about them, other than the fact that they are reasonably established, so there is less chance of them going bust and leaving me in the doodah!

that's not to say that i have not printed some things but the quality of the prints. and just the back and forth with them ehh. i do have to say that they did respond and try to help me get back and running.
as far as the M.B. i hear good and bad but i think it is just because of the technology is still new. read the reviews form people that have one.
