I am really excited about this series and looking forward to it. My only concern in looking at the photos is that Seven doesn't look like she has any articulation except for shoulders and hips, I hope this is just a prototype. I would not be happy if DST cops out like Playmates did on her figures. Same for the Borg Queen too. I understand trying to keep the integrity of the sculpt, but one of things I enjoy about this line is the articulation.

Most toy companies show the early prototypes at these shows and at least half the time they dont have the articulation cut in yet. So no need to worry.

I'll probably buy 2 alcoves to start with. And then maybe more as the years go on.

I would like to have Borg Seven, regular Seven (atleast one of them) & the generic drone in alcoves.

I can totaly see 7 of 9 exclusives w/alcove coming!

A standard Issue Silver, but a Red and Blue version as well!

About the articulation- someone reminded me on another board that a lot of the figs we're seeing at Toyfair are 2-ups. I'm not sure if DST does those or not, though.

For myself, I want 3 alcoves- one for the Borg Queen, one for Seven, and one for Locutus. I'll probably end up buying extra alcove pieces from those of you building your Borg armies or Seven customs. smile.gif

Hey all,

I guess this wave is just like the Command Chair waves. They are able to use the same base with different figures which I think is an excellent idea. Just got to wait for Sisko, Worf, Future Nog (if I remember correctly) etc. with the Defiant chair biggrin.gif

Take care,
Matty-lad

What is "Future Nog"? Do you mean current Nog as a Starfleet officer?

I'd guess he meant Nog from "The Visitor".

Well... if the description that BBTS lists is correct, its a bit different in that 1/3 of the alcove comes with each figure.

Hmmmm.... how come your trek core links never work for me?

They always send me to the main page and then I'm forced to search around to find your reference... any suggestions? Or is that just the way Trek Core is?

Hey all,

Not too sure on this. They always seem to work for me. Just tried clicking on my link above and it goes directly to the picture.

Sorry I can't help.

Take care,

If all else fails, you can right-click the link, choose "Copy Shortcut," and paste it into the address bar.

...That's how it works in Internet Explorer, anyway. I'm not sure how the command is named in other browsers.

Yeah, I have to do that also. It's "copy link location" in Firefox.

Yeah, I guess that's the step I was missing...

I can't just click on the link... but if I copy the location and paste it in a new tab then it comes right up.

Kind of weird, as one should just be able to click on the link.

Oh well, thanks for the hints!
