First they are not contoured to the head sculpt's brow bones and second... Picard NEVER had jet black eyebrows....
After a while of looking at the show I decided to work on the paint of the face sculpt....

That's a great looking Picard figure.
Thanks VF.... I had to go through several shades of grey ( Not 50 though.... lol) to get him to look right.

He looks so realistic it makes me miss TNG. I hope the new show will make good use of Picard and many of the TNG crew.
I know what you are saying VF.... Im both excited and cautious.... I dont want to be let down if the new show isnt very good.

A bit off-topic, but Rick Berman's comments on the show's writer made me feel a little bit better. I just hope the show 'looks' authentic, and isn't a complete style reboot (a la recent films/Discovery).

Agreed JayK.....
Im wondering if the destruction of Romulus will be a major thing.... It would theoretically be a such a major event that it would change the Alpha Quadrant possibly for a very long time.

Ignoring Romulus would be a mistake. That said, if it happened ten years ago, it could be ancient history but the effects should be somewhat apparent. Romulan and Reman refugees joining the Federation, making the Klingons nervous. Romulan colonists holding fast to traditional ways and refusing to embrace a treaty with their old nemesis...
But, yeah, that's definitely an improvement to Todd's paint scheme. Subtle but significant. Well done!

I'm a bit mixed. While I agree its a nice custom... I was looking at some TNG shots and some are a tad darker... depending on the shots McFarlane used, I think they may have it right. None the less making the "curtains match the drapes" isn't nearly as distracting.
