Anyone know if NECA will keep the 7" line or will all toys just be done by Tomy? I Love NECA's line, so much detail!

I'm guessing we'll see something at SDCC. I like the NECA line too, but wish they were articulated. Neca's "Clash of the Titans" Perseus figure was articulated nicely, and the articulation in no way detracted from the figure.

Possibly the best news Harry Potter related in a long time. I don't know if this will include figures. Neca and Tomy are partnering up to distribute Tomy's product in the United States!

Yeah, I noticed that...

And really, if it doesn't include the figures...the news doesn't mean anything.

Not to me anyway.

With NECA re-releasing the Series 1 Harry Potter stuff, I'm wondering if the rest of the series will be sold there too. My wife really likes the figures and I picked them up for her on eBay for her birthday close to what they were in specialty stores. The next week I saw them at TRU for $10 each. Now I'm wondering if I should wait to get Lucius, Bellatrix and Harry that way or just pay the compareable price again on eBay to insure she has them. I was packing the Riddle Gravesite diorama recently and noticed Harry's wand was broken, so it's not like I don't need to get a replacement that way.

Agreed. It would be stupid to go to all the trouble and not distribute the figures as well, but stranger things have happened.

Neca have commented that they are not currently releasing the action figures for Tomy, just the wands & stuff. But they did say it 'is possible' they will be releasing the figures too at some point.

The Tomy figures are quite a bit bigger than the PopCo releases:

Found some of the Tomy figures in Aussie department store Big W - only $9 each which is pretty amazing for Australia. Generally action figures are around $16 or more.
