Think of them as Eaglemoss product-sized vehicle replicas, and they're launching the line with ALIENS! Up first is:

  • Alien – Space Jockey
  • Alien – Derelict Engineer/Space Jockey Ship
  • Aliens – M577 Armored Personnel Carrier
  • Aliens – UD-4L Cheyenne Dropship with spring launching M577 Armored Personnel Carrier

Space Jockey and APC:

Well, I'm DEFINITELY getting a Derelict! Not sure about the rest, even with the knowledge of a Dropship and APC set akin to something like Thunderbird 2 and 4 from matchbox, but this is another great product line from NECA. :D

EDIT: More information and reveals from this line at New York Toy Fair.

Read about these a few months ago. Aren't they a little bigger than the EM stuff though. Looking good but the price point.....not so good. Still got some of my MM stuff as well, lol.

EDIT: Never mind about the price point. I saw the new price for these that I'm a LOT happier with, lol.

Yeah the price point is the same as Eaglemoss in the US ($20 each). I'm curious to know how that'll translate into pounds though, as Eaglemoss are completely fair with that - in fact, I think the UK price is still a bit cheaper than the US price. Basically, if these are £10 each, I'll get the lot. If they're £20 each, I'll just get the ships and Narcissus.

Far too often shops like Forbidden Planet just do the 20 bucks is 20 quid thing, which is TOTALLY wrong! One of the reasons I always wait with buying stuff till I'm in the US,where I can always get it cheaper. Sometimes I order online, but not very often.

These look really cool though,so might get some of them.

So in the UK is our only option FP for these then?

I very much doubt at 6" (if I saw that right) these will be £10, I think nearly £20 as speculated is more likely.

I've already got the entire first wave ordered through EE. Really looking forward to the subsequent waves. It's my understanding that they'll be tackling Terminator, also.

So as well as the bluetooth communicator, and the Bajoran Raider, today I also picked up the Derelict! I have to say it was a little bit expensive (£25), but I am absolutely in love with it. Can't wait to get the other ships now. :)

Those seem bigger than I expected them to be. I don't know why, but from the pictures I always expected them to be small.

Maybe they'll get the Trek ship license and give us some good smaller than DST, but bigger than EM ship goodness.

NECA with a proper Star Trek license would be a dangerous thing for people's wallets. :)

The Derelict is the only one I don't have displayed and I'll tell you why. I felt it was a missed opportunity. This is the only one that came with an acrylic stand. Wrong. It should have come with a base made to look like a bed of rock.
The color was a decent attempt, but when I get around to making a base for it that I'm happy with, I may put a dull coat on it to make it less....cheery.
