I just wanted to post a little customizing I did on the Stargate. I figured since all the cheverons are active there should be an event horizon. wink.gif

Oh the things that a color printer, cardboard and a good pic on an event horizon can do. biggrin.gif

That looks good. I have been thinking about doing the same thing. What size did you print it out?

I planned to do the same thing but I used a different picture. How did you get the paper to fit? I used 8 1/2" by 11" and it is short on the sides.

I have a friend who has access to a large digital printer at work and is going to print one out for me when I get him the correct measurments.

Ya, I used 8 1/2" x 11" and it was too short. I had to print two and overlap them. You can tell in the pics at the bottom of the gate where they overlap. The printout was scaled to fit the meda in this case 8 1/2" x 11".

I picked up some ledger paper from work and we have a large color laser printer at work so I will try to increase the size. to fit the whole gate.

Ok, I will try that. Do you have a copy of the image? I used this one,

I like it, but it looks too big for the gate.

The link provided does not link to any images that I can see but the one I used was downloaded a while ago and I dont really remember where I got it. I think it may have been part of the Stargate World Webkit

New Gate Custom

I had some extra gate peices laying around after getting the replacement gate piece for Col O'Neill. I had the old Col O'Neill gate peice and the Gen O'Neill, Jaffa Teal'c and Black Ops Teal'c so not wanting to buy another Jackson and Carter I desided to put them to good use and make myself and Offworld Gate.
