Look what just popped up at BBTS:

http://www.bigbadtoy...448&mode=retail

A Diamond Select Toys release! Resistance is futile! The irresistible Borg Queen has been captured as a 9-inch-scale PVC statue - the next entry in our Star trek Femme Fatales line! With a detailed sculpt and exacting paint applications, this static vinyl figure features a removable head and upper torso, to simulate her on-screen maintenance routine. Displays alongside Seven of Nine, Counselor Troi, and all other Femme Fatales statues! Statue comes packaged in a full-color window box.

I guess if we can't get her released as an action figure in her alcove, this will do.  Strange this wasn't even mentioned at NYCC.

This seems to have come out of nowhere... Interesting.

Her face seems... off to me, almost cross eyed.

What in the world is going on with this pose, is she mid-fascist-salute?

Not quite sure why, but I think that's what they're going for.

Also, http://imgur.com/qhAjZoo

That looks pretty much identical to the figure... for the most part.

Ummmm.  She does look crosseyed.  And the pose...ick.  Such a missed opportunity.  Unless she's intended to be posed with her hand on Seven's shoulder.  And I don't think that's the case, though it would have been clever.

Ya after looking at it several times it really is a bad looking figure, poor Borg Queen deserves better.

The Playmates 12" Latinum BQ was lightyears beyond this.  Like, how could this have been screwed up so royally in 2015?

Maybe Janeway is coming up soon?  To be paired with BQ in her "I'm gonna choke a b-word" stance?  But her head's not even facing the direction her arm is pointing.  And it doesn't  look like there's any neck articulation beyond the torso separation bit.

I hate to complain but the figure looks awful.... Maybe the production piece will be better.

Her face sculpt looks nothing like Alice Krige or Susanna Thompson and in general the sculpt looks very soft and almost clumsy.

Ugh... Just as bad as Seven of Nine. They should have just went with a more re imagined exaggerated look since they look nothing like the actors anyway. That way they would at least be a little bit appealing.

7of 9 may not look like Jeri Ryan, but it looks infinitely better than this thing.

Hopefully it's a prototype not the real thing. Also I saw the Mego style Cheron and Red Shirt Security Guy on their website.

Are these Femme Fatales in their own scale, or scaled to display alongside Art Asylum / DST's action figures ?

I'm sure it is a prototype.  But when have we ever seen a final product that looked *better* than the proto?  haha

Has anyone actually purchased the Queen now that she has been released?

I saw her in forbidden planet and she looks really bad IMO, so I passed on her. Not a fan of this Femme Fatals line though.

I didn't expect this figure to be that great from the prototype images. Thanks 1701D for the info.

The sculpt is as bad, if not a little more sloppy than the prototype and I have no idea why DST chose that ridiculous pose?? Such a shame we may never get her as a proper action figure.
