Thanks all!   Yes, they are water slide decals.  You can find them on ebay,  Just search for excelsior decals.  The scale is 1/1000.  Most of them fit really well.  There was some trimming needed in other spot, particularly around the bottom sensor thingy on the bottom of the saucer.  Otherwise it was fairly simple.  I did not use any of the blue decals because it is a completely different color and I did not want to mess with that.  I only used the aztec decals.    After applying all of the top decals I sprayed it with a satin clear coat to seal them in.  Let it dry over night, then proceeded with the bottom and the sides of the secondary hull.   If you decide to do this, please be very careful, as there are no extras decals.  So if you mess up, you are kind of screwed.  Just be patient and not rush.

I am used to decals because I have built many many models over the years.  However, if you have never done this, it may be a bit of a chore.  I would even recommend trying the blue decals first just to get a feel for them.  That way if you screw up on the blues, it really will not matter.

Now that's what I call resolution!

Great work on the decals. They really sell the scale of the ship - she feels huge in your pictures.
