I wonder if that BOP Would say "Double Dumbass on you!" I think that'd be totally awesome there just for the fact it's one of those lines you'd probably never hear a Toy Say....lol

Yep, there's no doubt about it, this could be the most fun ship to date in terms of quotes. Add my vote for all of the above! Maybe a sound clip or two of The Yellowjackets, as well? :P

Start at the fill just a second or two after where I've linked here:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIVqLHULuSs&t=108

...and have it fade out around 2:05.

Same again starting here:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIVqLHULuSs&t=152

...but this time, stopping abruptly at 2:48.

Yes I'm joking, but I'd love this. Something cool for the future, would be the ability to put our own sounds in there (via usb or something). All my ships would then be filled with the most ridiculous clips from the shows/films that there is. lol

Yeah too right! Also, "They are not the hell your Whales", and even though it'd be completely out of context with the ship, it'd make me belly-laugh every time to have a BoP that has Spock just randomly say, "Gracie is Pregnant."

I love The Voyage Home. It's attrociously good, if that makes sense. ;)

It has landing gear, therefore "everyone remember where we parked" works and better be there.

Why is the HMS bounty lettering on the landing gear bay doors and not on the hull above them though? It looks odd.

That movie is too quotable.

I'd love if the whole Gillian/Spock/Kirk Italian food exchange was on there... or "No, I'm from Iowa, I only work in outer space."... too many quotes.

I'd imagine the voice clips included will be from scenes on the BoP.

Would be funny to have the whole scene as a soundeffect when Gillian screams "Admiral Kirk" a few times and is beamed inside. I hope the Bounty BoP will have at least as many soundeffects as the Wrath of Khan Enterprise.

I've been looking at this and I think it's actually the accurate spot, it just doesn't look like it because that's not where the landing gear was in TVH.  The matte painting used for the landed BoP (you can tell a model wasn't created for it) has the landing gear coming from the wings rather than the hull.  So, "HMS Bounty" was painted on underbelly panels that folded down, likely for a cargo area.  DST has the landing gear coming out of there, so while the panel that they have hanging down isn't fully accurate to the size of the panels in the movie, it seems to be pretty much the right spot.

Also "HMS Bounty" disappears in some scenes altogether so it's hard to really know where it was on the "real" ship... So I think where DST have it seems perfect to me.

Actually, the Bounty has a sort of cargo-pod modification to it, and that's where the letters HMS BOUNTY have been painted on. Seeing as how they'd therefore have to make an extra piece to stick on the bottom of the hull, it looks like they've painted it on the landing-strut's door - which I think is fine. :)

If you go here, and scroll down to the big post by the dude with Dukat as his avatar, he explains it:
http://www.starshipm...ic.php?t=107472

...but to be brief, compare these two pictures, and just know that the name is painted on to the 'pod':

BoP in IV (small pod attached to the bottom):

BoP in III (no pod on bottom):
