The new one is up...seems like there's at least some hope for TOS Wave 5 this year!

They finally answer about the missing windows! They are offering a free decal sheet. Nice of them.

Pretty decent Q&A, although he misunderstood parts of both my questions... Oh well. Interesting that Rubies is the only one that can make a TNG commbadge, shame too...

Glad he had something mostly positive to say about wave 5.

Interesting that Sisko isn't dead in the water just yet, sounds like they're looking for a retailer or two to step in.

I wasn't completely disappointed with any of the news this go round ... other than the news about DS9.

I am glad to hear that DST plans to hold onto Trek for a while longer. I was getting worried there for a bit.

Yeah, it kind of sounds like it's going to be heavy TOS for the foreseeable future. sad.gif

Hey all,

What worried me was this quote:-

DSTChuck: Alan, sorry to say right now based on sales of past figures the DST action figure line is taking a break. There are still some figures we

"Eric Walters
What happened with the (reg) Enterprise-D neck windows… Or lack there of??? The (AGT) Enterprise-D has neck Windows. No Neck Windows are present on (Reg) version http://www.flickr.co...3rd/3614965183/ Neck windows are present on (AGT) version http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/

DSTChuck: Eric, there was an error in production as the line shifted over to run the regular version, so what we’ve done is created a decal sheet that a fan can apply if they want. We’ll just need them to send in a SASE and we’ll send one right out. Look for the news to shop up on the DST site very soon."

What's a SASE and where exactly am I supposed to look for it?

I too was taken a back by the Figure line taking a break, but that can be a blessing in disguise. If they stop making figures for a bit, then when they come back, they might have a full blown new strategy and possibly will make mixed waves. But we never know.

I'm sure the Two packs will still be coming out a few a year.

Im pretty sure he meant DS9 figures were taking a break, not DST figures. The question he was answering was in regard to specific DS9 secondary characters.

I am looking forward to seeing more info on how to go about getting the window decals for the Ent-D . Would we have to e-mail them first and then send a SASE , and how big and envelope have to be? Legal size? Larger? Any one have DST's mailing address handy? All I recall is Timonion Maryland .

Maybe they aren't canceled, just delayed. I hope that this line continues. I'd love to see a Captain Robau and some of those aliens that were in the background and cut scenes! Trekmovie.com showed pictures of a salt vampire and Gorn that were going to be in the Rura Penthe scenes. Those Klingon Guards would be cool too. I don't see any reason why this line couldn't be as much of a hit as Star Wars.

They sure are masters of dodging questions. I don't know why he couldn't answer my question about if we're going to get the Kirk with a new head sculpt straight up, but at least it wasn't a flat-out no. dry.gif

I lost interest in reading those blogs a while ago because you so seldom ever get any straight answers or any information that you didnt already know, in fact it seems like Chuck knows less than we do by some of the answers i have read. It really seems like a waste of time to ask questions and read responses.
