That pink dot on his white undershirt may be some sort of pin holder for the shirt although i dont remember him having one in the movie.

Spock has a right hand Vulcan salute. Is this the first time this has been corrected?

I'm afraid it's not a lighting issue. If it is, then that means Spock's robe would be pink as well as Kirk's undershirt and I don't think DST would do that. tongue.gif
Oh well, I'll have to repaint Kirk entirely like I did my AGT Geordi.

Maybe it is a likeness issue that DST had to sort out with the Shat. He may have realized that pink was a horrible colour for him to have ever worn, and said it could not be released unless they changed it!! LOL
What is with pink in Trek at that time, didn't Checkov wear pink too??

Well, this is 'supposed' to be released today, so I guess we'll find out. Honestly, I do expect it soon- we saw in-package pics a couple weeks ago on the AA blog.

Plus, it's Kirk and Spock...

Guess what. DST has a new release date for them, 15/07.

I dont see any date on the DST site for these, it just says preorder. What is 15/07 supposed to mean? Are you talking about July 15th? Here in the states saying 15/07 would mean the 15th month of 2007, which of course doesnt exist so to look at that date it really doesnt make sense at first until i realized you must be in the UK or something.

It says 'Preorder' on the main icon for the two-pack but if you actually click on it to read about the description it will say July 15th.

Awesome idea for a 2-pack, I am definitely getting these two! Still want one of Kirk from TSFS though, with that cool leatherjacket!

Ops, sorry. I forgot that in the states you use the month in front of the day. In Brazil we use day/month/year.

I think the entire world uses day/month/year, aside from the US. Because we have to be different, can't go doing what everyone else is doing. The metric system? No way.

I am not saying the way the US does it is the best way and everyone else has to follow suit, i am just saying that since a lot of folks on this forum are from the US , including the owner, it would be nice to make it clear to everyone here what you are talking about, so we can all benefit from the post without scratching our heads trying to figure it out. Anyway, thanks Barney for the post, and sorry for making a mountain out a molehill out of this.

Didn't Star Trek teach us that no one way was the best way? Infinite diversity and all that? It's okay to be different and unique? Wasn't that a lesson learned from this series?

We march to the beat of a different drummer. That's fine by me. Like the old saying goes: "Just because everyone else is jumping off a bridge, should you?"

Ya know, you can jump off a bridge and not die. In camp, the counselors, campers and I all jumped off a bridge into the water just for fun and no one was hurt because the bridge wasn't that high and the water wasn't that deep. But I guess we're getting off topic here, so, um...who else would like to see a Star Trek IV playset with the Klingon ship landing by Golden Gate bridge? laugh.gif

I think if DST makes any playsets they should start with TOS and then move forward if they sell well. At the rate they put out stuff though it would take several years to complete the bridge if they put out one bridge piece with a figure a year, which is probably as fast as they could do it.
