Thought I'd give a few details on this guy, since I have one too, although mine's in the middle of getting a new coat of paint.
It has an extending barrel.
The front is static on FHC's, I have the newer nozzle that ratchets into the three different positions.
The trigger moves.
The sight goes up and down.
It's static, otherwise, BUT this was a collaborative effort by members over at trekpropzone to make THE most accurate Cage Laser out there. And it really is. It was eventually made as a kit by one of the members.
I feel really lucky to have mine, it's one of my favorite all-time Trek props.
