Got my Vengeance the other day. Anyone else's stand make theirs turn slightly off center? I can post pictures later today.

I see amazing detail and design on things like the ECS Fortunate, Sabre and Botany Bay, but that Antares is downright FUGLY....

It is very ugly, I don't know why they couldn't have designed a better looking ship for the remastered series.

Apparently it's taken from the animated series (not sure though). Definitely isn't pretty!

Ben posted some new shot of the Romulan Bird of Prey. The colour looks lovely on this (in my opinion):

Ben followed these up by saying:

A LOT of effort went into adding grain to the bird pattern.

It is from the Animated Series:-

I actually like the design. Anything from the Animated Series and I'm happy.

No issue here.  If its a big issue then exchange it out.  I had to because my warp nacelles were way off and it had a  big white paint spot on the back.

Got my Borg Cube today. Ya know what, after all the talk about how bad it is...I could live with it if it didn't have those ugly white holes for the green lights to shine through. That ruins it for me.

Anyone try opening it up to replace the white parts?

Not sure why (maybe a contest or something), but someone on Facebook said Ben sent him the Mirror 1701, and he's posted a couple of pictures:

11781812_10206472309880249_4656937106301

And a comparison with the normal (lovely) 1701:

EDIT: Just to clarify, I was mistaken (tiredness!), Ben just posted these on Twitter, and that's the first painted prototype.

I got the Borg cube with my other items yesterday.  Smaller than I expected.  Could it be better, sure.  But I am still glad I have it.  It can make a nice Christmas decoration or something.  It can easily be placed high or far away enough that the lack of detail is less obvious.

Ben just posted a preview of the (I assume) finished Norway class, in its box:

More to come later/soon apparently. This is one of those ships where I have to pinch myself a little bit, as I still can't believe there's a company actually making it. :)

I just talked to EM about an unrelated issue and the rep was going to take my info and pass it on to theyre US reps. Apparently theyre opening a US based operation for customer service ("sister division"). No word on POC info yet, but i found that interesting and want to pasd the word so my fellow collectors were up to speed.

Also, Akira is fantasic, Sabre and Steamrunner are gorgeous and Norway is superb. I cant wait to have my First Contact Armada complete, hopefully with the complete set that includes that pesky Millenium Falcon.

Before ya'll crucify me, it DID have a one second screen appearance, so its canon technically....

I'd honestly be thrilled with an EM Falcon at this size.
