Spoiler

This link will probably produce some good pictures of any new things later today:

Various searches have turned up nothing, but I think that's because DST have no ships at the show:

http://www.toyhypeus...panel-coverage/

Worf select figure, and nothing else - not even the III phaser, nevermind ships. Fingers crossed that I'm wrong, and they're just outside in the van or something! lol

It's pretty obvious that Star Trek is no longer an important franchise to DST. DST can say what it wants but one Trek item at an important event such as this is sad. I know many will disagree with me but the pictures are the proof. I sure hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

Seeing all the interchangeable parts makes me think they really bungled the Picard select

Wait, what are we supposed to do with all the extra arms?? When is 'Winter 2015'? January-ish? Or December-ish??

I really wish DST would just add articulation to one good set of arms instead of giving several un-articulated sets. That really irks me. The Kirk and Spock arms were perfect. Keep that standard across the line and I would have been super happy with it. Now I dont know if I will continue. Here's hoping Neca or McFarlane gets the figure license for Trek soon.

It looks like they are showing a ship (just the E-A) and the ST3 Phaser.

Worf looks really good and so does the phaser that IS on display here! And there's a perfectly good explanation as to why no ships yet. It's easy for EM to show off a bunch of ships since they've got it planned well into next year. And DST DOES do other stuff than ST,like I've said before.

Other than that, fun stuff at the con, both Trek and non trek.

Robster, not wishing to argue against your points (am I detecting a bit of passive aggressiveness from you?), but Eaglemoss do just as much as DST. They have quite a few magazine lines of the same ilk as the Starship collection, and Ben Robinson (someone who for me, I hold in almost the same regard as Eaves, Drexler, Okuda etc - simply for his knowledge alone), he edits several other publications as well, the Dr Who line for one. Yes, DST do more than Star Trek, but I don't feel I'm asking for a lot. I'm a fan of their stuff, they've told us for almost a year now that they KNOW what the next two ships are, and like I've said many times before, I don't mind waiting for them to come out, but I would like to know what they are!
Didn't the Worf figure get announced with no picture showing it? And then at San Diego Comic Con, I believe they had some concept art for it and no prototype - so why can't they do that for the ships?

Again, I hope I'm not coming across as impatient, I'm more just bemused by this secrecy. People love these ships, so let them start to get excited! The Eaglemoss Steamrunner class (issue 54) is a good year away, and I'm as excited as hell for it!

I know some people have the view that they only want to see products when there's a definite release date for them, but I'm honestly the opposite. I love having things to look forward to. :D

EDIT: Also just want to be clear, if the guy who prototypes the ships for DST is still ill, then obviously that's sad, and I wish him the best (he's amazing), but, I know what almost every ship in Star Trek looks like, so I only need the names.

Worf looks like he's bustin' a move. :D

And how is it that a company called "Amok Time" doesn't do Star Trek stuff?!

It's really annoying that we're still waiting for the names of the ships they're making.

They didn't have a problem showing a picture of Worf, why can't they show the ships? Even if they're a year away, do they not see how excited Trek fans are with the EM line showing ships that are well over a year away?

Most of us don't care how long it'll take, we just want to know what's coming.

Nah,no PA from me,just putting my thoughts out there since someone said there was ONE item on display when there were more than that, for instance. Yes,even a ship.

Amok Time has a lot of cool stuff, just not much Trek, lol! Just bought a Day The Earth Stood Still set there today, and Sam from Trick'r'Treat,a movie I like. There's another booth there called Tribbletoys or something, and while they had a lot of Trek stuff they had even more Who stuff. Guess a business has to cater to what people seem to want these days, lol!
