FYI, VF, that die-cast Batmobile is not the same scale. The Hot Wheels Elite cars are 1:18 scale, smaller than the DST cars, around 3.75" scale. It's about a foot long, and I believe it's mostly metal. It's like a big, highly detailed Matchbox car. I don't believe it has electronics in it, but it might.
Toysrus had a Batmobile by Hotwheels in that size a few years ago for $39.99. It didnt have a non removable Batman and Robin in it and i dont know how detailed it was, but it was heavy! I wonder what else has been added to make the price jump from $39.99 to $159.99.
