Did I miss something?  I just received my latest shipment, and see that it contains #83, Bajoran Troop Transport, and #85, Federation Holoship.  What happened to #84, the NX-Alpha?  I don't think this is a packaging error, as in hindsight, the tracking email stated the shipment included 83 & 85.  Anyone else not get 84?

I received 84 and 85 in December. I remember Octobers shipment only had issue 80. I called the US customer service and was told issue 81 didnt ship because the US system thought the collection ended and hadnt been updated. However i was reassured that the lost issue would be sent in the next shipment. Sure enough, in November, i received issues 81, 82 and 83. I havent seen a shipment confirmation yet this month but i saw where Eaglemoss took my money so i should be getting Issues 86 and 87.

Although i am very much looking forward to getting Februarys shipmemt as that contains a very beloved ship: Enterprise J! She looks gorgeous from all the facebook pics ive seen. Im stoked for the Aeon this month though but god... cant wait for the J!

It'll be back soon apparently (no idea why it got removed...).

New previews of the Jumbo-D - second prototype (updated paint, red line around the name on the saucer etc), and the first picture has a little glimpse of the Rhode Island:

See now I wasn't sold on the jumbo original enterprise but a jumbo D I'll buy that in a second.

Loads of stuff. Firstly, have a check of the facebook page because the Saratoga and Romulan Scout are with some people already (haven't seen any top pictures yet though).

Secondly, Trekyards have finally introduced Ben Robinson on to their show (they've been arranging it for a long time, and Samuel has helped Ben with the CG files of certain ships I believe):

Thirdly, a guy from the facebook page (DangerousDac from Reddit - might mean something to Alteran and Destructor at least) went to a signing today with Ben and a guy who did some Star Trek comics. He had the newer Jumbo-D with him which was photographed meticulously, and someone filmed Dave asking Ben a load of questions. I haven't seen it yet, but here's the video:

Also, there's a new group on facebook which has a lot of notable members (Drexler, Eaves, Trekyards guys etc) which is a fan-group of the Eaglemoss stuff, and you can see the Jumbo-D pictures there. It's the place I got the money-saving codes for the Shuttles the other day, highly recommend you join if on facebook:

EDIT: Andy Probert's Enterprise-C is being made! :D

Fun news! I watched the Q & A but had trouble making stuff out. I think I heard the Argo is in shuttle set 3. Something about the Narada still being too difficult to make and a Scimitar is possible but the Nemesis CG files are lost. The color on the big D is awesome. As others have pointed out the smaller shuttlebays are identical, when they are supposed to be different sizes. The section around the deflector dish seems off to me. It's probably safe to assume these large versions will use the same files as the small ones but with added paint detail.

I've come to a decision that I probably won't be buying the jumbo Enterprises.

While they look great, I already have a larger scale line of Enterprises, and don't really need another, slightly smaller one.

When they release the jumbo Voyager and Defiant, I will absolutely buy them since they will no doubt be better than my old Playmates ships.

Same goes for any JJ-Verse jumbo ships, if and when they happen.

I'm intrigued about the original C being made. While I've never liked the design, I'll probably buy it just to see the real C and it side by side.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing to be honest. Big Defiant, big Voyager, and I'll even take a big Excelsior as it'll probably be close to the DST D and E's scale. If the Enterprise-C is fixed, I'd get that, and if the refit has the level of detail that the QMX version had (has?), well I'd get that as well.

Not to nitpick further, but I don't like the main impulse engine on the Jumbo-D - looks like the one on DSTs, way off in terms of shape. That seems to be a problem on many models of the D. It's as if the people making the CAD files thought it was a shuttlebay rather than an engine. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't that the same with the Playmates version as well?

Really excited about Probert's C. I consider Sternbach's C to be more suited to the time it's set in, because Probert's version looks like either a beautiful refit of it, or a new class of ship that came later. Can't wait to get the model of it, but would love it to be called something other than the Enterprise-C though.

DJC, you're right, the Argo is number four of set three. Samuel Cockings (English guy from Trekyards) seemed to imply he had just sent the actual file of it made by Rob Bonchune, to Ben as he had been given it for use in a future mission briefing.

That means that set three will be the Travel Pod, Work Bee, Type 11 and Argo. I know Eaglemoss don't really do scales, but I'd love that Type 11 to be in-scale with the mission scout ship. :)

EDIT: This seems to be a new thing for Eaglemoss (putting the product page up on their website early), but for anyone in the UK, you can order the Romulan Scout ship on their website from the 19th of this month:

If Eaglemoss is willing and able to do some non-canon designs, such as Probert's Enterprise-C or Jefferies Phase II Enteprise, I wonder if that could open the door for some of Franz Joseph's Star Trek Technical Manual ships.  I realize that his work isn't everyone's cup of tea, but for someone like myself who continually pored over that book in the 70s, it would be a hoot to see those as part of the collection.

Anyone else feel $75 a pop is a little too high for these jumbo ships?

They have now reappeared and the £20 off still works so ordered them, thanks for the heads-up on that. £75 would be too expensive for me but £55 is just about bearable.

I feel they are, since theyre what, 30% larger than the special issues. Im waiting to see if reviews support the cost.

Im wondering when the next 5-10 will be announced.

Random thing about the jumbo-D that makes it easy to 'size' in your mind - the saucer is the same length (not width) as the standard D (aka issue 1).

Doc, next 5-10 will be announced soon according to Ben just the other day (see video of him at the signing). :)
