The Tri-fold Borg figure, mib, sold for $810.00 + $12.00 shipping after 6 bids.

Not counting true prototypes, such as test shots from that auction earlier this year, this has gotta be a record paid for a Playmates figure in the past 12 months.

"I worked for a company that was interested in using the Star Trek name in our product.  One of the items they sent was this," the seller wrote.

These don't come up for auction on eBay even every year -- I think this is the first one I've seen on eBay to be honest. It's hard to estimate just how many of these are left in the package, but this seems like a realistic price for something that is not offered very often.

Have you seen these go for less?

Yikes! I need this one, but at these kind of prices, I'll pass! It's not even in that good of condition. I got outbid on one several years back at $300. I think that it went for $350. Thanks for posting all of these auctions ;0) Fred.

I'm pretty sure I'm never gonna get this lucky again, but I picked up this figure last week just on Canadian eBay -- just out of the blue -- with a small batch of other figures. The Prophets were smiling on me that day.

Well, at least we know that there was more than one or two, hahah! This one has foot number 30926.

It's hard to tell how many are still out there in their boxes -- it has to be well below 50 examples, right? Otherwise there would be more photos out there on the internet, I feel. Or at least there would be more on eBay.

WOW! Good job Morgan! It looks like I need to pay a visit to Ebay Canada from time to time! It looks to be in great condition too. Great find my friend! Fred K.

Q DS9 with pog on TNG 7th season Canadian card went for $21.50 + $6.70 shipping after 2 bids.

This is one of the rarer DS9 figures on TNG 7th season uniform -- these Qs come up for auction about once a year or once every two years -- so this is a pretty good result. This shows there's still demand for these rare Canadian-market figures.

This is another one where the seller could have done better had they described the auction better. They definitely needed the word "Canadian" in the title, although it is possible that the seller didn't know what they had. In that case, advantage  buyer..... which is exactly what happened!

You always find way more stuff on ebay than I do. Good job ;0)  Fred.

Tapestry Picard, MIB, went for $215.00 + $11.99 after 7 bids.

I would have to call this "well bought." Something tells me the original owner of this figure paid well above $215.00 to get it back in the 1990s. This is just about market-priced at the moment -- I haven't seen these top $300.

Hi Morgan,

I think that this seller would have gotten a better price if he had pulled the figure out of that plastic so the packaging could be seen better. IMO, they really stepped on their own umm.... foot on this auction! Pictures will sell or not sell an item! Fred K.

Yeah, I figured that someone from this forum was involved, just wasn't sure who, heheh.

It's hard to tell which ones from this bunch are rarer tbh, but Data and La Forge seem to be. Q I've seen a couple of times in the last 3 years.

Are you saying there is a Vash on 7th season cards?

I was just wondering about the 1995 figs that had Canadian stickers. The only one I've seen is Prof Data (I have that one) but I straight up haven't seen any others at all. Thanks for the great info!

Pics you can post by uploading to a free hosting site like www.tinypic.com, which isn't too spammy, and then clicking on the picture button here and cut and pasting that image link. This forum's pic hosting feature stopped working some time ago so all photos have to be hosted elsewhere, unforch.

Hi Morgan,

First of all, as far as I know...... No, there is no Vash on a 7th Season backer card. There is however, a 2nd Series DS9 Dr Bashir on a 7th Season backer.

Regarding the Canadian Movie Data & LaForge..... I've seen a number of the Data's available in the past. Usually quite cheap. LaForge is another story though. I think that I've seen two, including the one in my collection!

As for the 1995 Canadian releases, every one that I listed does exist, as I have them in my collection. I have never heard of any others.

As for the pic hosting, I generally try to keep from signing up for free stuff online. God only knows what they dump onto my hard drive!  Take care, Fred.
