So I decided I'm going to try building a custom lightsaber hilt, at the moment I'm not planning on a blade just the hilt.

I have 2 ideas for a base for the hilt, I have an old flashlight I got from my grandparents after they died that I thought was cool.

It's about 8ish inches long so a little short but I feel it could still work. The main thing I'm wondering is what kind of adhesive could I use to attach stuff the the thing? I've never done anything like this and have no idea what would work best.

The other hilt base I found are some white plastic piping I'd spray metallic silver and go from there. I don't have them yet due to money reasons but when I get them I'll post what they are.

If I don't have it, they never made one.

I like the looks of that flash light. I think it will be perfect. I'm not sure about adhesive that would work but I think some parts might be better attached using screws. It would really depend on the parts. I look foreword to seeing your build up. Good luck with it.

Very minor update

Since I'm on such a tight budget I could only afford a roll of electrical tape to make the black stripe.

I like how it looks and it serves a purpose by covering up the rayovac logo, almost like how they covered the graflex logo up with silver tape on Lukes original saber in episode 4.
