Thanks for the pic, i want to order this one and the WNMHGB Kirk, but im rethinking whether or not i want to continue supporting DST since i found out about the Troi figure situation. Great looking Pike set though....

Yeah, You know I was set to even get the 3rd Chair w/Kirk, but now I don't know...

Since the WNMHGB looks to have the incorrect Gear, I'm not so worried... also I think the shirt color look too bright, but I would have liked to have had a carded version of him.

Troi is even worse... again I doubt it's a huge issue personally as I pretty much collect 1 of each character and not the different versions, but I now agree with you 100% that I should at least have a viable option of getting all the figures, even if I choose not to get some.

I hate to say it but that sculpt leaves alot to be desired. I guess I will decide for sure when he arrives which should be in a couple days.

Actually I'm not sure I like the color and the look of the Pike Shirt... it kind of makes him look like he's wearinga sweater, when it's not really...

Any thoughts?

He kinda needs a neck, the collar is a bit big and the shirt needs to be darker, but I like it. I can't wait to get mine.

They look a tad rushed to me. No neck, collar a bit too big.

Is it just me or does Pike look kinda like a Fremen with those eyes!?

Guess i need to go back and look, but i always thought the shirts worn by Pike and Kirk in WNMHGB were the same style and color. I also thought that Pike had two braids on his sleeve instead of only one like that figures appears.

Yep I noticed the braids as well... also I think they were the same color tunics...



They look pretty much the same to me....

I am not too sure of those statements. Re colour, you realize that Lt. Smith and Capt. Kirk are wearing differing colours for their tops, right? At that time there were at least three div. colours blue, mustard, and whatever the taupe colour is for the "red shirts". I will do a check on my DVD's to confirm the numbers of braids, and compare the tunics.

Well, from those photos, if anything Kirk should have the lighter Color, not Pike... which means they are backwards. But the shirt style looks the same to me but maybe the ref was taken from a different frame and they look more on.

Well... you know Kirk... he's not very picky :lol

The braids are correct, but I think the colors should be reversed....

Kirk should be a bit lighter and Pike Darker.

Ok, I lied about Jones/Smith her uniform seems to be the same colour as Kirk's but the division insignia is "red shirt". Here are some screen grabs from my DVD's and it is possible that the seen on screen was the determiner, or just whatever type of yellow is on hand, as seen in the pics of carded Pilot Kirk.

Pike is kinda ordinary looking. He does really need a neck!

But he will look fine once we have a few more Cage characters around him, which I would hope to be Number One, Gary Mitchel....well, anyone who is not Spock!

I would want the Vulcan eventually, just prefer the unique characters to the show be made first.

Thanks for those LoT! Yeah I was looking at the the two episodes in question and came to the same conclusion. In some shots of Kirk in WHMHGB you can see that the shirt has those "shoulder holes" But I def think they are the same style and color, and the darker color on Kirk seems right to me, so I am a bit dissapointed with the final effect of Pike, The press shots look ALOT better (and correct)
