awww, geee. When you did the lid on the top did you do what I did? I cut the existing part out, carefully maintaining the shape of the original, I then replaced it in the closed position. With some fiddling around, I should be able to open and close it later, I just havent gotten to it. yet. I covered the lower door with sculpty, and was going to add details, what did you use, a bit of another tricorder?

Yep, you are right, Tiberius... I used another Tricorder for the detailing... which was no big deal, because I have so many of these things lying around... hehehehe...

You know, I don't even recall the TOS figures comming with open tricorders.

o_O really? I dont recall them coming with anything that wasnt open. The Enterprise line, the TOS line, and even the TNG line, all have open tricorders and communicators. I wouldnt have minded if they did some variety with open or shut ones, that way we adventursome type would not have to do it ourselves...
