Nothing big, just a quick "accessory custom".

Very nice. I was thinking of doing the same for my figures. Did you simply cut the bottom half and glued it closed?

Carefully cutting the accessory could give you the ability to close it. I have done so with my communicators, and previously with playmates phasers, not sure how it would work with AA ones. I even cut up my communicator to tuck into MM Kirk's sash. I glued this and a phaser to the sash, as he didnt seem to use them in the episode. Although this is NOT how I display my Kirk figure, it makes it all in one group accessory picture.

I liked the idea of an accessories pack with all sorts of starfleet related goodies included, closed tricorders and communicators included.

I think it would be interesting if DST released accessory assortments, much like their getting ready to do for Sunnydale Library playset myself. Nice customs once again LOT, still waiting to hear how you came up with the daggers for Uhura and Moreau figures though sad.gif

Huups, have I forgotten to answer to another thread?

I've some extra daggers, because I made myself a custom Mirror TOS crew back at the time, when the original Mirror Kirk & Spock were released.
So these "selfmade" guys will go into retirement, when my Mirror figures arrive, and I will use their knifes for Uhura and Moreau.

I'm guessing the chances of a future Star Trek accessory pack hinges on the success of the Buffy efforts. The pack looks awesome, though, and if I collected Buffy figures I would be eager to have them. Given how much more pose/play friendly the Star Trek figures are, I'd think our collecting ranks would be even more eager. Personally, though, I'd rather dioramas with just a few accessories. I know playsets are a long shot, but maybe an Enterprise Corridor? Part of the Ready Room? Its a shame we've been saddled with those "transporter" display stands instead of a simple build-a-background thing. A fella can hope, though.

Oh, and awesome accessory. I love the look of the figures with the tricorder/phaser attached, too.

LoT, I am not sure you want to use the whole dagger for your figures boot cuffs. I suggest you either cut them down, or make a mould of the hilt of the dagger. The articulation happens too close to the boot top, that you would have to remove material from the tip of the dagger, the top of the thigh articulation, or lose the articulation altogether. Just my observation.

Yep, you are right. I did so on my custom Mirror Uhura...
The dagger - of course - isn't removable anymore, but that never bothered me.

Nice job.

I would love an accessory pack for the Trek figures and the SG-1 figure lines.

LoT, Is that a custom made from the regular Uhura?

At a Glance I thought you just added a Dagger to teh MM Uhura, but when I look at it nex to the real thing it looks like you eitehr did a whole bunch more customizing to the MM Uhura or made one from the S1 base.

If it's from the S1 base. Well done. It took real good look before I realized it!
