It's definitely sounding like an original movie crew two-pack, much as I'd like the DS9 one theorized about. wink.gif Of course I'm in for whatever it is though. But I'll get excited when I see that it shipped.. Finding out what figures are coming out aren't as exciting anymore when you know you won't get them for a couple of years. sad.gif

That said, bring on more Trek!

You mean a Robin Curtis Saavik.

YES, I did mean Robin Curtis, blink.gif I just wrote that on the way to bed...
I am pretty sure that they would not do a STII/STIII mix, although that idea would not be bad to get McCoy. The DSN figures would be best to "get them out", but unless prototypes are tooled, I don't think they are the choice. That is, unless Rick basically took on the retailer exclusive to make them, albeit after the run was made.
At this time, I think it could only be a repaint or headswap, but who?

Maybe it's a ST VI Kirk & Captain Sulu ... all it needs is a bit of grey hair on a repainted Scotty body to make him a little pudgier, and a simple insignia swap on Sulu?

I hope someday we get a ST:IV civilian Kirk & Spock in white robe 2 pack.....

^^^ That's a good idea that would keep the two pack in the same movie! And it technically gives DST bragging rights to say they covered yet another movie!

I know DST seems to be on a movie rampage and DS9 trying to keep up.....but wouldn't it be cool if the 2-pack was of TOS Spock and McCoy in Dress uniforms? Just a thought.....all they have to do would be to mold a rubber shirt?

I am hearing lots of good ideas here. I would buy several. I do realy like the Captains Kirk and Sulu idea though.

They don't need to do anything but a headswap on either of those really, they could Use a Terrel for Kirk and a Spock for Sulu.

The Terrell body IS the Scotty body, so from DST's perspective we are saying the same thing. If we were doing this ourselves as customs, then yes, that's the best way to go.

You are both right and since these are suppossed to be simple changes then that is probably the most likely way they will go. Swapping heads or repainting to get new figures for a two pack.

hello all...
I asked DST again yesterday... again, this is not a set to get "too" excited about... we will have very limited quantities, so from that standpoint, a completist will want to purchase 1 (or 2, etc), but only 50% of the 2 pack is a variant (I can say that much)...

I'll agree with that based on what Rick said. Yeah, a 50% new two-pack isn't all that exciting.. Yeah, I'll buy it. wink.gif Plus, I already have my own Regula 1 McCoy from purchasing an extra Kirk & McCoy! Ah well!
