Absolutely amazing bridge! Glad you won, well deserved.

And JK,great post about Trek fans. I'm just a casual Trekker, even though my collection would say otherwise, lol, but it's actually the wankers and a-holes in the fandom that turns me off Trek,or other stuff I might be into. Not this forum of course,as there's been some great people in here. Yes,nit-picky at times,LOL!,but great nonetheless. I'm not Trekkin' right now though,as my attention span moved elsewhere for a while, but I always get back into Trek at one point or another. It's like a good book or a great movie you enjoy reading or watching again and again. Or a mistress you like to get together with every now and then, lol!

Love this forum, and I hope it will always be around.

J-R!

OH I had one more

I did not want to have any children after I got married. My wife asked me why. I told her that I had read that 1 out of every 3 kids born in the world was Chinese and those were not good enough odds for me.

Bah dump!  I know..... you'll be here all this week, 3 shows nightly.

YEAH,what's up with that?! Coffee tastes FOUL and horrible! I like the SMELL though, but the taste?! BLÆÆÆÆHH!!! People at work say I'll like it when I grow up,but I never will. Some people say it's an acquired taste, like British food,LOL! I grew up with British food so to me the bland crap we have in THIS country is the bad stuff. So much I miss from the UK,and now the US!

But I still don't like football....or soccer,as it's called in the US....never could get into the most boring sport in the world, lol! Always hated it,even as a kid. Oh well, guess I'm one of the few. And yes, there ARE other Brits who don't like football! lol! I have some Trekkin' and Whovian friends who hate it as much as I do,lol!

My choice of drink though? Mountain Dew. The US one,the REAL one,not that crap in the UK,cheap knockoff! Tastes like dishwater, yuk!

Have fun y'all!

Hey all,

Well I am also one of those Brits who don't like football. Don't get me wrong, I play it weekly, I just don't understand watching it. I agree it is boring. Then again, I'm like that with most sports.

Take care,

Matty-lad

I know it's not completely random if I reply, but- I've heard the acquired taste thing too, and my response is that if I have to acquire it, I'd rather just drink what I like instead of taking time to grow to like something else!

Why is it not completely random if you reply? Just call it a random reply....LOL! And I agree with you. If it's not love at first taste, then I'm not likely to retaste it again and again till I like it. That's just silly.

And no,that doesn't count. If you play football, you like it. I never play it and hate it! Every time we were forced to play it in gym class at school,I REALLY hated that teacher just a little bit more and more. And as an actual Craplandian....or Norwegian,if you will.....I also HATE skiing! They say these people are born with skis on their feet. WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS! Morons.

And the new Turtles trailer was OODLES of FUN!

Well, Elon Musk is trying to make moving to Mars a viable proposition - the day there is 24:39 long... so it's an improvement...
