Hi everyone.
For those of you like myself that just can't seem to get enough on the cool vintage Mego toys from the 70's, I have some very exciting news.
My upcoming Star Trek Collectibles Magazine due out this November 17 will feature among a variety of different Trek collectibles old and new, a nice selection of stories and articles on many of the great Mego toys from the 70's. We also feature a nice piece on the new retro cloth EMCE figures with a great article by Paul (Dr. Mego) Clarke.
Not only do we focus on the original Mego Trek figures but we also have articles on the HTF Mego Mission to Gamma VI playset, the extremely rare Mego Planetarium and the unique Mego Enterprise playset transporter.
I will give you more updates on the magazine as we get closer to it's release in most major bookstores and online at places like Amazon.com later next month.

You can also see a great selection of Mego toys in my current book, Star Trek The Collectibles, which is now out in most major bookstores and online at places like Amazon.com.

I hear that there's someone I know that has an interview in the magazine. Any truth to that? biggrin.gif

I'm looking forward to it as my interest in the MEgo stuff gets greater and greater all the time.

Maybe we could make it a contest to see who can guess who it is correctly first?

No, the winner will receive an autographed copy of the magazine by both myself and the person we are talking about, since that is what this thread is about wink.gif

Anyone else want to join the contest and take a guess?

James, I sent the publisher the addresses of everyone who was a contributor to the mag so they could send each of you a courtesy copy.
Have you received yours yet? And how about you Mark?

I ordered one and one came. I don't know if it was yours or the one I ordered. I'm guessing that one way or the other, I'm short one.
