I really wish I had the money for these. They look fantastic.

Ditto. The collection was launched just before I lost my job (chain I worked for went bust, I might add), and I was already committed to Batman Automobilia- couldn't afford both once I was unemployed, sadly.
The subscription premiums alone are mouthwatering!

The physical model was blueish green while the CGI model was more green I believe.

Yeah that's the thing. Any time something like that pops up, do a search for the CG model of it, and you'll usually find it's the same as their version of it (Excelsior warp nacelles, etc).
The only confusing one out of the models so far (in that I'm sure it's based off of a physical model), is the Enterprise-D. To me, it looks like the (gorgeous) original 6-footer. Having said that, I imagine the Venture from DS9 (minus the nacelle upgrades) was made using that version as a basis.

Just got the Reliant and Thunderchild in today. Both models are EXCELLENT! It's such a shame that the Enterprise refit didn't get the Reliant's paintjob - it would have been perfect.
Not really excited about the Jem Hadar ship that's up next, though.

I guess I'm thinking of the Playmates version. Perish the thought!

The Eaglemoss model is a heavily-rectified Star Trek Enterprise "These Are The Voyages" CGI model, bashed out by Gabriel Koerner over a weekend..
The deflector is the give-away... for reasons I cannot adequately put into words. Aside from that, it's almost unrecognisable - every proportion has been accurised, with an obvious deference to the 6-footer.
The screen-used iteration of that CG model was so inaccurate that it would be pointless to say that it was based on one or other studio model, but the diligent work EM have done on that ugly stepsister turned her into a princess of a model, which could only be bettered by using the Tobias Richter model that CBS are using on the TNG Blu-rays, currently.
The USS Venture from DS9 was a redress of the TNG Season 3-7 four-foot "Bulldog" studio model. The Phaser pods on the nacelles were hold-overs from the model's transformation into the future Enterprise-D in "All Good Things".

The one thing that really kinda disappointed me with the "These are the Voyages"- Enterprise-D was the error of the blinking nav and position lights. The ones not blinking were blinking, and the ones blinking haven't even been visible on the cgi. That changed the look of the cgi even more from the previous studio models.

It occurs to me that if the warp nacelles are separate pieces which are glued to the pylons on both the Ent-D and the AGT Ent-D surely a customizer could switch out the standard nacelles on the Ent-D with the Phaser pod nacelles of the AGT Ent-D to make a custom Venture.

My Reliant, Thunderchild and the dedication plaque also arrived yesterday. Impressive.
Definitely ready for the Jem Hadar ship next!
I noticed on the Eaglemoss website that they are charging $2 per ship for postage now on top of the $19.95 cost. Hopefully that only applies to new subscribers.

I have the same "problem" with my Defiant and the Reliant. I just grabbed some superglue and put the parts of the stand together for the heck of it. Sits perfectly tight now. In fact, the stand of my Reliant was broken at arrival and I managed to simply glue it back on the base. It's not like the models weigh hundreds of tonnes and the superglue would be unable to hold the weight..

My Reliant is fine, my Excelsior had the same issue but the replacement I got for it was fine. The only reason I dont want to super glue the stands is that if I move down the line I want to be able to repackage these to protect them and having the stands glued together would prevent that.I have the same "problem" with my Defiant and the Reliant. I've seen the stand issue on maybe 1/4 of the EM Defiants I've picked up (what can I say I really like this Defiant). I didn't end up looking to get any replacements since the ship balances perfectly when the stand is on "backwards". If most of mine weren't right that may have been different, but as I do have a couple extras I didn't bother.

I saw those posts of yours on the Star Wars forum you mentioned ages ago dude, and I howled! Quite a fleet you've built.
Regards the stands, with me, if it's loose, I just glue them in.
