Ok so judging by the videos I am impressed that it has no stickers and the decals are printed on.  Some of the paint apps are genuinely nice like the top of the saucer.  That being said the saucer sep just seems intrusive on this version and the missing details on the bottom of the saucer are cringy.  So this is a definite skip.  If what was said is true and Pm is going to focus more on ships for the future I hope we see some more effort put into any future releases.

I am no longer an Eaglemoss employee! so I am finally free to talk about what’s going on. This has literally just happened so I want to say two things. The first is that I am so sorry that Eaglemoss’s communication has been non-existent. It’s terrible and I can only apologise.

 

 Well legalese and all that.

 

The second thing I need to say is that there are people who are interested in taking over the build ups and the other models. It’s too early to make any promises but people are trying and we’ll do everything in our power to make sure these projects continue. CBS are supportive.

 

Good to hear fingers crossed.

It's curious that the company thought everyone wanted the original Enterprise first, instead of the refit/A for instance.

The only 2 Im rooting for are the Prometheus and the Akira.  I realize thats a bit of a stretch but since DST is having issues with the Enterprise-C I'd like to see Playmates do a sort of Black series for the ships as well.  The Prometheus is a bit of a stretch but the Akira is a well known fan favorite (its dare i say the Boba Fett of Star Trek).

Ehh Im probably gonna pass on that TOS Enterprise.

I believe Zach mentioned it before but the C is coming out first.

Im with you Prometheus.  The model dosent look all that impressive and considering the time and cost i think I'll pass.

That Akira XL looks really good ! Recieved the XL Enterprise C as a belated Birthday gift.... I'm really impressed..... I think they did a great job... Plus it's a damn huge replica... Makes my XL Enterprise D look dinky.

Yeah I got it for Christmas damn thing is massive.  Its got me all the more excited for DST's version (obligatory when it finally comes out in 2045 joke).  The Akira looks fantabulous.  I said it on facebook but Im wondering if EM took some of those highly detailed drawings that Alex Jaeger did to add some extra detail to the XL.

Honestly this looks like the best XL yet.

I hope we at least get to see the Reliant.

You clocked out way too soon.  The Klingon BOP and the Romulan BOP are excellent and from what Ive seen the QC is pretty good all around.

I really hope DST is allowed to continue with the electronic ships.
