I'd like to make one. I have the additional "logical" Spock select head, and I have a 2 pack Kirk figure. Will the select head be compatible with the 2 pack Kirk body with the boil and pop method?

I agree. One of my Facebook friends and his GF had minor roles in it and he sent me a link to a PDF file of the script when this episode was in pre-production. I was captivated by it.

Have you made any progress on this figure, Kor'Tar? It was this thread that alerted me to a new New Voyages episode, and I was really impressed by it-- and originally I only watched it to see Spock in the gold TOS uniform!

None as of yet. As it turns out the Select Spock figure with Horta has a different neck peg configuration than the other TOS figures. The bottom of the neck of the Select Spock is "male" with a post, while the TOS figures have the "female" post accepting receptacle.

Ah, that's a shame! Oh well, if you do manage to sort out the neck problem, or pick another pair of figures to put together, I'd really love to see it :D

Not as of yet. This project has been put on the back burner for now, until I can acquire an inexpensive Spock head.

Thanks. Honestly it was just a quick parts swap with the two select figures on my desk at work. I think it looks pretty cool though.
