Sculpey help!

Ok, I'm ready to try using Sculpey for my next project. I know you guys have used it and recommended it and if I want to move beyond head swaps, I will need to figure it out.

It says I have to bake it at 275 degrees for 15 minutes per 6mm (1/4") thickness, won't this melt my figure?

I thought I saw somewhere on the forum a custom Playmates figure useing a Black Canary head. I thought it was really cool and wanted to make one, but the BC I got was too small for the 6" Playmates. If anyone knows what head fits that size figure, please let me know.

I wanted to see if the new playmates heads would fit on old action figures. They do with some trimming. I noticed that the new McCoy looks like Gary Mitchell, so I made him. (I know Gary wore the older uniform, but i didn't have a Pike or Kirk handy) This one is the New McCoy head on the old Sulu body. I put the old Sulu and McCoy figures near for referance.
