I marked with a pencil where I felt his chin should end and where I thought his nose whould be "tapered".
I then went about repainting the face (again) and changing his eyebrows, the shapes of his eyes and also adding some detail to his hair and giving him the brown patch of hair he had on the back of his head for the first few seasons.

With Riker I added the folds to the side of his uniform and also added his belt which was missing from the figure. I slimmed down his face a bit and added some more hair to the top of his head. By adding the folds to the side of his waist it helped to reduce the "large head" the figure seemed to have. Lastly I gave him Worf's legs which seemed to really suit the pose and look of the figure. Also helped me to get Riker's stance displayed accurately I'm pretty happy with this version.

Thanks you I'm glad you like them. I don't know what it is about that Picard headculpt but it still doesn't look like it does in person. The long angle of Picard and Riker standing togeather is closer to how the figures head actually looks now. To be honest, I think the massive nose on the face distorts the camera lens

That Picard is very nice! I was unhappy with DST version of Picard, why the heck did they give him thin brown eyebrows?! lol
Why are these toy companies selling toys, when it's obvious the people here can do a much finer job I think.

In regards to the Picard figure the two biggest problems I felt the figure had were his nose and his chin. They were both too big. Stewart has a somewhat wide nose but it doesn't come down and dip over his lip like in this sculpt, plus although he has a broad chin it's not nearly as broad and big as DST sculpted it. So by shaving down his chin and trimming some of the hook off the nose, along with the repainted eyes and eyebrows it really helped to bring out a better likeness.
I'm still not completely happy with it and I plan on going back and doing more work on it. I was even considering resculpting his nose, but I need to get my casting supplies before I do that.
Thanks again for the comments

skeletor,
I'd recomend Testors' model master acrylics. I think walmart carries them as does a few hobby shops. Don't confuse them with the enamels though since those would end up being a nightmare and making your figures way too sticky.
