This has been overdue and, after a ton of stuff happening in my life, I made the time to get these done. My picture taking is terrible, (don't worry, I don't live in a nuclear bunker), I just took these in the half light, as it were.

These first ones are all repaints, I do have head swaps (even an 100% original design Klingon bounty hunter!) but those won't be for awhile just yet. So, be as nice or as harsh as you like, either way, I love getting feedback!

So, once more unto the breach...

14443090739_1b989ea3c7_z.jpg

Lursa, from "Redemption". I still need to paint the neck (and maybe the knuckle dusters), this one was my second custom.

I repainted an AGT Worf's armour and hair.

S1 Crusher. Not mine, I bough a lot of Playmates from "kevins customs" on eBay, he put this in along with another custom. So all credit goes to him. I'm going to try to post this, if it works, and I can add more pictures, I'll add the rest I've uploaded!

If not, enjoy!

Woohooo! It worked. More!

Thanks Daysleeper!

It may seem a bit "anti-climatic", after all, I've been promising you all these customs for a year. I've got a few more left to post, figure wise, plus a few of the Klingon weapons repainted. One thing I've had some fun with is painting 5/6 Borg different colours of grey, different eye colours, or painting the abs on one black for example. I never fully got going unfortunately so don't expect anything ground-breaking, but I am planning to start up again with some new stuff.

My camera's dead, battery wise, but I did take a photo of a simple Worf custom, so I may post that sometime this week!

Thanks again,

Redshirt

I have a huge selection of spare accessories I've gathered from various customs and thought of repainting them myself. I must say your work makes me tempted to try this myself. Awesome work and inspiring.

Thank you STPlayMatesCollector! After all the inspiration I've got from here, it's nice to see I've inspired others!

Other things I've painted:

Klingon knife, the one that came with Lursa I believe
Worf's Mek'leth
A couple of Bat'leth's
A Bajoran phaser
I refurbished my original Geordi and more importantly, his VISOR, adding a more goldish paint on the main VISOR part and red paint on the "dots" on either side
A Cardassian phaser
Half a dozen Borg arms
A Jem'Hadar rifle
A load of TNG phasers (grips, displays and tips), even cutting the end of a couple to make the "dust buster" phaser
A TNG monitor

I'll admit I'm not sure were all that stuff is, but rest assured, it will all be posted over time.

As promised:
14688186463_d7d33dd4b6_z.jpg

Worf in command red under shirt from "By Inferno's Light" and "Strange Bedfellows". A simple one, but I'm a big DS9er, so it had to be made!

It's a starfleet rescue Worf with the top half painted red. When the camera's back online, I'll take a better shot of him.

Just need a Wayoun for Worf to kill, and Damar to have a good laugh at...

Great idea! I've always wanted to make a Worf in uniform with the rescue Worf as base figure, since his pose and proportions aren't as comical as the regular Worf in uniform. Maybe I should give it a try after all...

And I've also wanted to paint a few of the accessories, but haven't done it so far. Nice work, dude!

Thanks as always Daysleeper! I knew when I got my original I had to make a DS9 Worf like that. I'm very pleased with the results! I'm looking at painting Intendant Kira's rifle (I know, a heinous act. To paint a limited edition figure accessory...but that rifle would look great in gold and black...) and some more Starfleet equipment.

For the first time in over a year, I sat down, and thought, what the hell, I'm going to make some figures today. I made five, all quite simple and humble, and quite unprofessional and crude, but I'm pleased with them. All variants of existing ones, but I will eventually start making some new characters. Expect pictures at the weekend.

Hey Redshirt,

Looking forward to seeing them. I need to get back into customs but with a 1 year old daughter, there never seems to be the time. Thankfully I can do some minimate ones pretty quickly so that keeps my craving at bay for now ......

Take care,

Matty-lad

Thanks Matty-lad. I can relate to that. I've been making Lego Star Trek figures, and that kept my custom crave at bay, but when I saw two of my half finished ones, I went and got my paint and knives out and started work again!

I've got four TNG figures, four, soon five DS9 figures, one TOS, and two Voyager, with one expanded universe figure (the afore mentioned mercenary/bounty hunter, I think I prefer mercenary).

EDIT: Scrap what I just said about how many customs I've made. I spent last night making 15 including a new, non variant character. I'm damn pleased with him. Keep your eyes peeled for them here!

Right, I got my camera working, then it died again. However, before it snuffed it I got a few pictures. Without boasting, a lot of my personal favourites are in this lot, and please bear in mind I'm an learner.

Any feedback is always welcome!

But first, a couple of retakes:

Worf

14683771604_bcce5a8519_z.jpg

And an improved Lursa, knuckledusters have been painted along with her neck.

So, some new ones!

14499520410_6ebc5e6e90_z.jpg

Evil Kirk from "The Enemy Within". I added some gold detail on his shoulders, but it's not to clear in these pictures.

14499521119_d91f8fc80f_z.jpg

Damar, drinking Kanar

14683796424_9fe506ec57_z.jpg

A comparison between Damar, on the left, with Dukat, on the right. I painted his eye lids and his neck, this is one of my favourites.

14685907372_f486a3d7a7_z.jpg

Season 7 B'elanna Torres (Another I'm very pleased with)

Benny Russell

"Call anybody you want, they can't do anything to me, not any more, and nor can any of you. I am a human being, dammit! You can deny me all you want but you can't deny Ben Sisko – He exists! That future, that space station, all those people – they exist in here! (pointing to his head) In my mind. I created it. And everyone of you knew it, you read it. It's here. (pointing to his head again) Do you hear what I'm telling you? You can pulp a story but you cannot destroy an idea, don't you understand, that's ancient knowledge, you cannot destroy an idea. (becoming hysterical) That future – I created it, and it's real! Don't you understand? It is real. I created it. And it's real! It's REAL! Oh God!" (he collapses, sobbing hysterically)

Nuff said, I believe!

Enjoy!!

Just downloaded your pics of the weapons as reference for my own work. Hope you do not mind?

Love the TNG phaser. I cut the beams off a load of my spares but the detailing you have added is amazing.

Also your Kirk is very impressive. Shows that with a little imagination we can recreate any character that captures our interest.

I hope to follow your example when time allows and will post my efforts

Of course I don't mind! If I've inspired one person anywhere then I'll die happy (many years from now I hope!).

Thanks on the phaser and Kirk! I've been doing the same sort of thing with most of mine, phaser wise. I've done about eight so far, with two dust busters (one for Yar and one for Riker).

I'd love to see your customs in the future!

I've got another simple-ish Kirk custom coming up so keep an eye out, along with the obligatory DS9 customs, a load of TNGers and a Voyager.

I never did like the rainbow accessories. If I had stayed with this scale, I would probably be repainting them too.

Thanks Lord Mudd! They really bug me, so I'll be rolling this out among pretty much all my accessories, so lots more I hope in the future.

What would everybody like to see next? Some series specific figures, more accessories, or some repainted Borg with a group shot?

Just a suggestion. Again had I stayed with this scale, I had considered a Borg Cube playset. The foundation for it would have been an old milk crate, turned on its side. Should be just tall enough for 2 levels. Would make a cool display for a group of Borg.

Thanks both!

I did have a little go at making a Borg playset, didn't exactly work but I did harvest some black foam from it to put on top of the Borg cube two pack. I used an old wine box, I'll have to post pictures as I still have it somewhere.

Anyway, I'll be absent not next week but the week after, prior engagements etc so, using that as an excuse, I'll post a lot of my current customs, tonight, as I have all the stuff taken and edited. Anyway, to start, a quick shot of my Borg:
